THERESIA POV:

"Does she not remember me?" I murmur my voice barely a breath against the soft clinking of my coffee cup. She was lost in the glow of her phone, oblivious to my silent observation. My heart ached with a familiar pang of longing, a feeling that had been dormant for years, now reawakened by her presence.

"Maybe it's because of the surgery she had,"
I murmured, more to myself than to anyone else. My mind raced, trying to make sense of the inexplicable. How could she not remember me? We had shared a past, a love story that had spanned lifetimes.

"She hasn't changed. She's still so beautiful, Napakaganda Ng Mga mata niya" I said, a wistful sigh escaping my lips. My eyes lingered on her, tracing the lines of her face, the curve of her smile, the way her hair framed her features. It was as if time had stood still, preserving her beauty, her essence, as if she had never left my heart.

Suddenly, she looked up, her eyes meeting mine, and a smile lit up her face.
"Ah, Senator Risa, how long have you and Senator Imee been business partners?" she asked, her voice filled with genuine curiosity.

"It's been a while, Alice. About 13 years now," I replied, a sense of nostalgia washing over me. The years seemed to melt away, replaced by a rush of memories, a shared history that I had thought was lost forever.

"You know, she was my best friend back in university. We were teenagers then, tapos ate pogi pa tawag ko Sa babaitang yon" she said, a hint of wistfulness in her voice.

"Ah, so you remember her," I said, a flicker of hope igniting within me.

"Ah yes, but only a few things," she replied, her voice laced with a touch of regret.

"She remembers Imee, but not me," I thought, a wave of sadness washing over me. How could she forget me? We had shared so much, a love that had transcended time and space.

We chatted for a while, our conversation a blend of shared memories and new discoveries. As the afternoon wore on, Alice excused herself, ready to head home.

I drove home, the city lights blurring into a kaleidoscope of colors as I navigated the familiar streets. I parked my car, walked into my apartment, and collapsed onto my bed, letting out a deep sigh.

She was back. Why? What had brought her back into my life? The scent of the past lingered in the air, a bittersweet reminder of our shared history, of a love that had been lost and now, inexplicably, resurrected. But she didn't remember me, not even my name.

"Hay, Theresia Navarro Hontiveros, if only I could turn back time, binalik ko na " I whispered, my voice filled with a longing that echoed the emptiness in my heart.

I couldn't deny the truth. When I first saw her at the party, all our memories came rushing back, flooding my heart with a love that I thought I had buried long ago. I couldn't stop thinking about her, her smile, her touch, her laughter. She was a ghost from my past, haunting my present, a reminder of a love that had been lost and now, inexplicably, found again.

I grabbed my phone, my fingers trembling slightly as I dialed Imee's number. She answered on the first ring, her voice a welcome sound in the silence of my apartment.buti Nga sinagot Niya Minsan she did not kase naglalandian Sila ni Binay

Imee, you have to tell me everything," I said, my voice urgent. "hoy babaita ka Why didn't you tell me that Alice is our new business partner? I was shocked to see her in the office. She was the first person I saw."

" Sorry, Ris. I thought you'd be surprised. But anyway, Zhang told me she has a bit of amnesia from the surgery,"

"Poor Risa, she doesn't remember you, but she remembers me,sorry ka nalang" Imee joked, her voice light and teasing.
