Alice Pov :

"Ate shie Is Gone bakit ba siya lagi " I sobb as I'm leaning on to her shoulder  , were standing now at the center

"Shhhh I said prove it Actions Are better Than Words" she whisper in my ear

Her words last night  stucks in my mind to the point I can't  sleep na .

So this Saturday I came in to my office and then work as if natambakan na ako ng gawain .

I love her but what would I do if she's still in love with  ate shiella ?

"Hayssyt Pei stop thinking her ano ba !!" I muttered while doing my paper works

"I told you so Pei " shett I can't !!!!!

She's still on my mind

Why that woman makes me crazy ?

When I was about to  check my paper works Someone knock

"Come in, bukas po yan!" I said, turning away from my overflowing paperwork.

The scent of jasmine hit me as she entered, a familiar fragrance that always seemed to cling to her like a second skin. It was Donya.

"Alice," she said, her voice a hushed whisper that sent a shiver down my spine.

"What brings you here? Aren't you busy madami ka pang gagawin sa municipal? " I asked, trying to sound indifferent.

She held a bouquet of tulips – my favorite. It was almost a cliché, but she had a way of making even the most overused gestures feel personal. She leaned against my desk, her touch light but purposeful as her fingers brushed mine.

She tilted her head, meeting my gaze with those piercing green eyes. "Ano nag usap na kayo ?" she asked, her voice laced with a mixture of accusation and something else, something I couldn't quite place.

"Of what?" I asked, trying to play it cool, but my heart was already drumming against my ribs.

"Don't play dumb with me, Alice," she said, her voice taking on a sharper edge. "Don't pretend I  didn't notice how you  looked at her. How you looked at her  back harap harapan"

My breath caught in my throat. "I don't know what you're talking about, Yun lang ba kaya moko iniwan kagabi don ?" I said, trying to appear nonchalant, but the guilt was already rising in my chest.

"Did you still love her ? Don't lie to me, " she said, her voice hardening. "You both seemed to be enjoying each other's company a little too much. Were you just playing a game?"

"It was nothing," I insisted, trying to convince myself as much as her. "Nagsayaw lang kami"

She leaned closer, her perfume filling the space between us. "Dance ? Or something more?" she whispered, her gaze intense.

"Donya, I—"

"Don't you !" She shout " she interrupted, her voice rising. "You know how I feel about you. You know I love you."

"alam ko" I said, my voice barely a murmur.

"Then why?" she demanded, her eyes flashing with anger. "Why were you with her why were you let her na isayaw ka ?"

"It was nothing, I told you," I said, trying to calm the storm brewing inside her. "It doesn't mean anything bat ka ba nagseselos ?"

She laughed, a dry, hollow sound that sent a chill down my spine. "Doesn't mean anything? You think I'm stupid, Alice? I know you. I see the way you look at her The way you laugh at her jokes last night "
