It's Friday morning when imee told me that may special event na magaganap sa isang resort , It's Manang Imee's birthday! She's celebrating at a secluded resort, keeping things low-key. Only a select few made the guest list: Senator Jinggoy, Lorna, Robin, and Bong - that's it for the senators. Of course, her ex is there, and then there's our company crew and a handful of business partners.

I followed her gaze and saw Alice, looking stunning in a dress, her short hair framing her face. She was deep in conversation with Donya.

"So what?" I raised an eyebrow, feigning indifference.

"Go talk to her! Don't be shy, nahiya ka pa " Imee urged, her voice laced with playful encouragement.

"You know I'm pretending to be blind, right?Ewan ko sayo" I chuckled, knowing she was just teasing.

"So what? I'll drag you there myself!" Imee declared, grabbing my arm and pulling me towards the table.

Alice looked up, her eyes widening in surprise. "Ms. Risa!" she greeted, her voice soft and hesitant.

"Oh, Alice, ? Your here!" I responded, pulling up a chair. Imee strategically placed Grace beside me, her presence a silent reminder of my "blindness." Grace even helped me sit down to make it seem more believable.

"Oh, I'll leave you two to catch up," Imee announced, heading towards another table.

I could see Alice's lips twitching into a smile, her eyes darting between me and Donya. "Grace, could you get me some black label, please?" I requested, my voice a bit louder than usual.

"Sige po ma'am," Grace replied, hurrying away.

A few moments later, she returned, placing a glass of Hennessy in my hand. I took a deep inhale, savoring the familiar scent.

"That's Hennessy, isn't it?" I commented, my voice laced with a hint of amusement.

"Ah ms. Risa matapang po yan " Alice replied, her gaze fixed on me.

"I can handle it," I assured her, taking a small sip pero acting actingan na naman

"But drink slowly," she said again.

To change the topic, I asked Alice, "Ah, Alice, are there any others at our table? Parang may nararamdaman akong Isang paa sa ibabaw Ng table " I said kase Yung paa ni donya natatabig ang paa ko naka heel pa naman

"Ahmm, si-si Donya po," she stuttered.

"Ah, Mayor Donya Tesoro,? she's here pala I didn't see her, you know I'm blind, hehe," I smiled.
