Chapter 18 Baby -sitter

Risa Pov:

We touched down in Thailand at 5 am, the sterile air of the airport a stark contrast to the tropical humidity outside. Alice, ever the early bird, was already nudging me awake.

"pstt.. gising na po!! " she chirped, her voice brimming with that infectious energy that always annoyed me in the mornings.

"Five in the morning? You know I'm not a morning person, right?" I grumbled, my eyelids heavy with sleep.

We grabbed our things and immediately started looking for a hotel to stay in. While we were searching, I noticed a lot of foreigners staring at me. "Maybe they're amazed by me," I thought

Alice giggled at me again

"What's so funny?" I asked.

"Nothing," she said.

Alice, oblivious as ever, was already deep in her phone, planning our itinerary. "Let's find a hotel first," I said, dragging her along like a reluctant child.

The hotel staff seemed friendly enough, but the woman at the desk's smile faltered when I requested two rooms.

"Hi Ms., do you have any rooms available?" I asked while Alice was looking at her phone.

"Yes ma'am," the woman replied.

"Ah, kindly book two rooms for me and for that b*tch, oh?" I said, pointing at Alice. She glared at me, raising her eyebrows.

"We only have one room left, ma'am," she said, "What if you two stay in that room?"

"Are there no other available rooms?na ba" I asked.

"Ma'am, there's nothing available on the second and third floors. The only room left is on the top floor," the woman state

"okay lang Yan di naman Ako maarte " Alice said while she's glued to her phone

"Seriously magtatabi Tayo Sa Isang room ,excuse me noh napaka Arte mo kaya sa onting bagay lang" i rolled my eyes at her

The woman, bless her heart, reassured us that it was a spacious room with plenty of privacy. "Ma'am, there are two beds in that room, so don't worry,"

"Fine," I said, "but you better behave yourself,alice" I warned Alice, already envisioning her commandeering my space and my toiletries.

I had no choice but to take the room. The woman gave us the key and I paid for the room. We went to the fourth floor and found room 305.

"There it is," Alice said, pointing to the room.

I open with the key ,We were led to a surprisingly luxurious suite with a miniature living room, a fully equipped kitchen, and a spacious bathroom with a walk-in shower.

"Not bad," I conceded, collapsing onto the bed.

"Ugh, pagod ako" Alice sighed as she lay on her bed. We were next to each other.
