Chapter 26 Rewrite the stars

Alice Pov:

Risa's words this morning, while we were glued to the TV screen, pierced my heart. "I can't betray Shiella," she said, and the sting of it was almost unbearable. I'm head over heels for her, but she chose my sister over me.

Now, we're in the kitchen, a symphony of sizzling garlic and simmering adobo filling the air. Risa's at the counter, a culinary sorceress conjuring up a feast. I'm right beside her, captivated by her every move.

"Hehe, sarap ba yan?" I ask, a playful glint in my eye.

"masarap to promise" she says, a confident smile on her face.

"weh di Nga ? " I tease, playfully nudging her.

"Oh, shut up, you're just jealous of my culinary skills. Why don't you try your hand at it?" she retorts, a mischievous twinkle in her eye.

"Hmm, ayoko " I say, my voice dropping to a seductive whisper. I wrap my arms around her from behind, my cheek resting against her shoulder.

"Hmmm baby bango mo" I murmur, inhaling deeply.

"Alice, stop it," she says, trying to push me away, but her voice is laced with amusement.

"Baby, bango mo Talaga " I whisper, tightening my grip on her.

"Alice,baka nakakalimutan mo may Shiella ako" she says, her voice a bit more serious now.

"Hmmp Lagi Nalang Shiella Ako Naman " I say, my voice a mixture of playful teasing and genuine longing. "And besides, Shiella's not here right now, is she?" I add, my voice dropping to a seductive whisper.

I can feel her stiffen slightly, but then she lets out a soft sigh and turns towards me, her eyes meeting mine.

"You're impossible," she says, a smile playing on her lips.

I lean in closer, my breath warm against her ear. "I know," I whisper, "and I wouldn't have it any other way."

Risa, with a mischievous glint in her eyes, held up a fork laden with a perfectly browned piece of chicken adobo. "Alice Try it,oh " she said, her voice laced with playful persuasion.

"No thanks," I countered, my eyes locked on hers, a mischievous grin playing on my lips.

"Tskk, Alice, come on,masarap to" she insisted, her voice dropping to a seductive purr.

"Ikaw muna" I teased, my voice a breathy whisper. I had a plan, a delicious little scheme brewing in my mind. If she took a bite, I was going to steal the adobo from her lips with mine.

"Fine," she said, her eyes sparkling with amusement. She popped the adobo in her mouth, savoring the flavors.

The moment she did, I pulled her closer, my arms wrapping around her waist. "Risa," I murmured, my voice a husky whisper.

She turned towards me, her eyes wide with surprise. "Alice," she breathed, her voice laced with a hint of playful panic.

"masarap ba yan" I whispered, my gaze lingering on her lips.

"hmm I know what your thinking" she warned, her voice a mixture of amusement and a touch of apprehension.

"Just one bite,po" I pleaded, my voice a seductive purr.

She hesitated, her eyes meeting mine, a silent battle of wills unfolding between us.

"Okay," she finally conceded, a playful surrender in her voice.

I moved closer, my lips hovering just above hers. She closed her eyes, her breath catching in her throat.

I gently brushed my lips against hers, taking the adobo from her mouth. It was a kiss, a delicious, playful kiss, seasoned with the flavors of adobo and the sweet heat of our desire.
