"Okay time to have the talk" I said grabbing a slice of pizza and sitting crisscross on the floor in front of lando.
"My parents had that with me when I was 15 I think we're good" He said with an amused smile on his face.
"Really 15? My parents never had the talk with me" I said taking a bite of pizza
"Don't worry I can teach you" He said winking at me.
"Ok no don't distract me" I said putting my pizza down. "I just want to say this just so that there's nothing that we are questioning okay?"
"Okay?" he said looking at me confused.
"Obviously we are both in the public eye. When it comes to relationships I don't particularly care if they are public. They are going to find things out eventually they always do, and i've made peace with that. My only request is that its not outright immediately but whatever you are comfortable with I will respect that as well." I explained, watching him closely.
"Or if this isn't like a thing then we don't have to - " I said starting to panic at his lack of response. Maybe I read this whole situation wrong.
"No no Mia I like you, a lot. It's a thing, we are a thing" he said, making a gesture between us. Not the most romantic phrasing, but I'll take it.
"I'm on the same page. I've seen how my fans react whenever I'm seen with someone, and they can be pretty intense. But I don't want to hide away because of that. So, I'm good with just existing as we are and letting things unfold naturally," he said, taking my hand in his and giving me a warm smile.
"Okay good, this is good." I said confirming more to myself.
"We're good. You don't have to worry about the media scaring me off" He said shuffling closer to me and pulling me into his side.
"Oh they will try trust me. My fans are very protective" I said jokingly.
"I will make sure to tell them I have nothing but the best intentions." He said placing a kiss to the top of my head.
"Ok you can hit play on the movie now I just wanted to get that out of the way" I said turning my attention to the screen. He laughed softly and pressed play, pulling me snugly against him.

By the time the movie ended Max had returned and gave us all the drama from the night. I could listen to these two talk all day, between the British accents and their childlike banter I've never been more engaged in a conversation.
"Okay it's bedtime now, goodnight lovebirds" Max said getting up and walking into the guest bedroom.
"Shall we?" Lando said getting up and offering me his hand.
"We shall" I said taking it and letting him pull me to my feet. I wasted no time throwing myself into his bed and tucking myself under the covers. Lando grabbed some clothes to change into, peeling off his from before. I shamelessly watched him undress into his boxers, admiring the man that he is.
"take a picture why don't you" He said smirking at me. I raised my eyebrows and grabbed my phone, taking multiple photos of him. He played annoyed at first, but then posed for the last one. I laughed at his antics
"Alright, enough of the paparazzi treatment," he said with a chuckle, sliding into bed beside me.
"Should I put up a barrier, or do you think you can behave?" I teased, poking fun at him.
"Shut up," he replied with a chuckle, pulling me into his chest. I wrapped my arm around his waist and cuddled into his side, still smiling at my own joke.
"Goodnight," I whispered, placing a soft kiss on his collarbone.
"Goodnight," he murmured, returning the kiss to the top of my head.
As we settled into the quiet of the room, the gentle rise and fall of his breathing and the warmth of his embrace made everything feel just right. With a contented sigh, I closed my eyes, feeling perfectly at ease and drifted off to sleep.
---
I woke up to the sun streaming right into my eyes. Someone remind me to order him blackout curtains. As I shifted, I quickly realized that Lando was no longer beside me. Reaching for my phone on the nightstand, I noticed a fresh iced coffee sitting next to it. I bit back a smile, grabbing both the coffee and my phone as I headed to the bathroom to freshen up.
I pulled on one of Lando's oversized sweatshirts, enjoying its cozy warmth, and then ventured through the apartment in search of him. I heard faint noises coming from one of the rooms and peeked in to find him doing bench presses.
"I could get used to this," I said, leaning on the doorframe and taking a sip of my coffee. He slightly jumped at the sound of my voice but quickly racked the weights and sat up to look at me.
"Good morning, beautiful," he said, getting up and planting a kiss on me. "How did you sleep?" he asked, returning to his weights.
"Amazing," I replied. The time difference between here and Morocco was only an hour, so I wasn't really jet-lagged.
"I'm almost done here. Want to grab breakfast when I finish?" he asked, lifting another set of weights.
"Sure, I'll go get ready," I said, heading back to his room to pick out something to wear. I had to give Gabby a bonus for the incredible job she did preparing everything, including packing me a fresh suitcase. I pulled on a white tank top, a pair of jeans, and my green Sambas.
By the time I finished getting dressed, Lando walked in, glistening with sweat. "You're hot," I said, giving him an appreciative once-over.
He laughed at the unexpected compliment, his smile broadening. "Thanks, you're not so bad yourself."
Lando headed to the shower while I grabbed my laptop and perched myself at the island, trying to somewhat not ignore my responsibilities. A little while later he wrapped up and we headed out to his car garage.
"Which one do you want to take?" he asked, gesturing proudly at his lineup of prized possessions. I scanned the array of cars and grinned.
"The Porsche, obviously," I said, heading straight for it.
"Beautiful choice," he replied, unlocking the car with a flourish.
"What about you, Ms. Big Shot? What's in your garage back home?" he asked, his amusement evident.
Now it was my turn to flaunt a bit. "Do you want the whole collection or just the ones I actually drive?" I replied with a teasing smile.
"Oh, she has a collection," he said, clearly impressed.
"Oh, she does," I said, smiling wider. "Day-to-day, I drive a Bentayga S. But I also have an Audi TT Coupe, a 1970s Bronco, an Alfa Romeo Spider, and..." I trailed off for dramatic effect.
"And?" he asked, his eyes widening.
"And a baby pink McLaren 750S," I said, flashing a sheepish smile. His jaw dropped as he looked at me in awe.
"I think I just fell in love," he said, still looking stunned.
"I'm deciding between a Porsche or an Aston Martin next," I said proudly.
"Porsche," he replied firmly. "We don't support the competition." He then added with a smirk, "I'm really waiting for at least one red flag. You're proving to be too perfect." His hand rested lightly on my thigh.
"Sushi is one of my favorite foods," I offered playfully.
"And there it is," he said with exaggerated relief, making me laugh.
