Today was Monday, so it's been a couple of days since our beach day. Lando and I have been teasing our followers on social media, and at this point, the majority of them know we're together—except for a few who insist we should respect our privacy while posting fan videos of us. I love our fans, though; their support means the world.

Today, Lando is getting a sneak peek behind the scenes of filming. Technically, he's not supposed to be on set, but what are they going to do—fire me?

We settled into my trailer, where I was revising my lines for the next scene. Thankfully, there were no scenes that just involved me and Rudy; that would have been awkward. It was a pretty chill day, with only two scenes on the schedule.

"Lando, be my scene partner, please," I said, handing him the sheet of paper.

"You should call Drew. I'm not suited for this," he replied, panic flickering in his eyes.

"It's fine! I just need to make sure I remember my lines. Just read them out," I laughed, trying to ease his nerves.

"Okay," he said, still unsure.

He read them out and I managed to only mess up one line. I love that Lando is here, but I haven't had my usual prep time and its messing with my flow. By the end Lando got into it, saying the lines with far more emotion than when he started.

LANDOS POV

As we wrapped up our little rehearsal, I couldn't shake the nerves buzzing in my chest. I've never been anywhere near a set like this. Not to sound egotistical, but I'm usually the focus when I'm on set.

After a last-minute review of her lines, we headed out of the trailer. The crew members bustling about, adjusting lights and cameras, while others set up the next scene.

"Okay you can stand over here" Mia said leading me off to the sides where I still had a clear view of the set. It was all outside, so it was easy to be out of the way.

I spotted some familiar faces from the show, laughing and chatting before the scene. It was wild to see this side of everything.

"Lando?" Mia said snapping out of my thoughts.

"Sorry, this is so cool" I said looking at her smile grow.

"It is. I have to go get ready. Behave" She said giving me a quick kiss and running off.

As the first scene unfolded, I watched with fascination. The chemistry between all of them was palpable, especially between my girlfriend and her ex Rudy. I felt a tad bit jealous watching them be all touchy, but at the same time equally as impressed that she can play it off that well.

"Cut!" The director's voice rang out, pulling me from my thoughts. I cheered along with the crew as they wrapped the scene, and I noticed the way her face lit up with excitement, a smile that could brighten the entire set as she ran back over to me, followed by her other castmates.

"How'd it look?" she asked, wrapping her arms around my shoulder while I instinctively pulled her closer, my hands settling on her waist.

"You killed it," I said, planting a soft kiss on her cheek.

"Oh, meet Jonas! He's our director," she said, drawing my attention to a man with headphones perched on his ears.

"Hey, Lando! Nice to meet you—huge fan!" Jonas exclaimed, extending his hand for a shake.

"Nice to meet you too," I replied, giving his hand a firm grip.

"Take care of her; she's basically my second daughter," he said, smiling at Mia. It was no surprise to see how close they were—Mia had started this show when she was just 18.

"I will, I promise," I said, glancing between them.

"Oh, is this why you needed weekends off?" Jonas asked Mia, as if a lightbulb had gone off in his head. I turned to her, confused, and noticed her eyes widen.

"Jonas, you big mouth!" she exclaimed, throwing her head back in disbelief and lightly shoving him away.

"Oh, sorry!" he said awkwardly. "But seriously, go to set B in 20 minutes," he added, giving her a friendly pat on the shoulder.

"Care to share?" I asked, looking at Mia. In my mind, there could only be one reason she was taking all those weekends off.

"I have to be there when you get your first win," she said, shrugging nonchalantly.

"So you're really coming to my races?" I said, excitement bubbling up inside me.

"Well, duh!" she replied, cupping my cheeks with her hands and beaming at me. "I wouldn't miss it for the world."

The drive back home was nice, especially since Mia let me take the driver's seat.

"Does it make you uncomfortable watching Rudy and me?" she asked suddenly, her voice cutting through the comfortable silence. The question took me by surprise, and I glanced at her, trying to gauge her mood. She looked thoughtful, almost worried, and my heart squeezed a little.

"Maybe a little, but I know it's your job," I replied honestly, feeling a flutter of uncertainty. Was I being too possessive? I loved watching her today, but seeing her with him was a little unsettling.

She nodded, her gaze drifting out the window as if searching for answers in the passing lights. "Why do you ask?" I prompted gently, wanting to dive deeper into what was on her mind.

"I guess I was just wondering what it looks like from your side. I want to make sure you're okay with it," she said, rubbing her thumb over my hand, sending a warm tingle through me.

"What if I wasn't?" I asked, curious about her reaction.

"We'd talk about it, I guess," she said with a small laugh, her eyes twinkling. "But honestly, I didn't really think that far ahead."

"It would be silly if I wasn't, right?" I said, bringing her hand to my lips, savoring the softness of her skin against my mouth. As I looked at her, I couldn't help but melt at her gaze—those bright eyes filled with both concern and warmth.

Three words danced at the tip of my tongue. But as soon as the thought crossed my mind, a wave of doubt washed over me. Was it too soon? What if I scared her away?

"It wouldn't be silly. I would understand" She said.

"You don't have to worry about me." I said, trying to get across that I am truly not bothered.

"Are you comfortable with it?" I asked.

"I'd prefer if I didn't have to." She said truthfully.
