*This chapter follows the quadrant video "The start of something new"(this video was in the UK but shhhhh) - enjoy*

We walked into a place called Versa Studios, where Lando and Max were filming a release campaign for their new collection. The set was standard, but I was honestly impressed by the sheer number of crew members buzzing around. They were also filming a behind-the-scenes segment, so I positioned myself in the corner to stay out of the way while still soaking in the action.

As they began with hair and makeup, I found a simple pleasure in watching the guys go through the process, particularly the little comments they made about it.

"Do I need makeup?" Max asked, glancing over at me with a half-serious, half-playful look. I nodded, and he feigned offense, raising an eyebrow. Once Lando finished his hair and makeup, he walked over to where I was sitting.

"Look at you," I said, admiring his newly done look.

"Do I look handsome?" he asked, striking a pose with his freshly styled hair and makeup.

"Stunning," I replied, and he leaned down to give me a quick peck on the cheek.

"I reckon I've got more makeup on than you," he said, glancing at himself in the mirror next to me. I laughed, considering I was bare-faced, so he definitely did.

After hair and makeup, we made our way back to the set. I stayed back, not wanting to intrude on the director's space. Despite my attempt to blend into the background, many of the crew members gave me surprised looks before greeting me. I watched as Lando and Max followed the director's instructions, with Max looking like a lost puppy and Lando managing fairly well. When the director called "Action," the boys simply had to walk to their chairs, but I could see Lando struggling to suppress a laugh. Watching them review their old projects was unexpectedly emotional for me. I hadn't followed Lando's side projects closely before meeting him, so I wasn't fully aware of all the effort he'd poured into his brand. My tendency to cry at almost anything didn't help either, and I found myself on the verge of tears.

"Are you crying?" Lando asked, his tone a mix of confusion and amusement.

"This is just so cute," I said, smiling while wiping away a stray tear.

"Mia," he laughed, pulling me into a hug.

"Happy things make me cry, okay?" I admitted dramatically.

"It's cute," he said, playfully poking my nose.

Once most of the filming was done, it was time for a segment where they had to stand on a platform and pose. Max went up first, but every time he did, he started laughing and looked at me and Lando. We both had to stifle our laughter to avoid distracting him.

"You two need to stop giggling; you're messing me up," Max said, pointing at us. The camera panned to us, but I tried to ignore it.

"You're doing great!" I cheered him on. After several takes, he finally nailed it and came back to us.

"It's tough out here," he said with a grin.

"It's not easy. It's harder than it looks," Lando added sarcastically to the camera.

"I don't know how you do this," Max said, looking over at me.

"I'm a pro," I replied with a smug smile.

"You do it then," he challenged.

"Absolutely not," I said, shaking my head.

"Yeah, show us how it's done," Lando said, guiding my shoulders toward the stage.

"No, no, no," I protested, waving my finger at him.

Hours later, after all the filming and photos were wrapped up, we headed back to the apartment, with Max taking his own car.

"So, I was thinking..." Lando began, glancing over at me with a playful smile.

"Oh no," I said, raising an eyebrow and playfully bracing myself for whatever was coming next.

"Would you like to go on a date with me tonight?" he asked, his eyes twinkling as he glanced over.

I couldn't help but grin widely, almost squealing with excitement. "Of course I would," I said, lightly leaning over to hug his arm.

"Good, because we have a reservation in two hours," he replied, his smile widening.

"Do I get to know where we're going?" I asked, intrigued.

"Nope," he said, popping the 'P' for emphasis.

I started mentally scrambling, trying to decide what to wear and how to do my makeup. Once we got back to the apartment, I headed straight for Lando's room to get ready.

"Get ready in the other room" I said pushing Lando away since he was following me.

"But I want to watch you get ready" He pouted

"No it's gonna be a surprise" I said smiling and closing the door.

"Can I at least grab my clothes" He said through the door.

"Fine" I said opening it up and allowing him to enter his own room. I waited until he left before starting my makeover.

Considering I didn't pack my own bag, I didn't have a wide array of options. I settled on a long red dress and a pair of kitten heels.

I also grabbed a sweater just in case, knowing that the temperature tends to drop at night this time of year

I also grabbed a sweater just in case, knowing that the temperature tends to drop at night this time of year. After putting the final touches on my hair and makeup, I snapped a quick mirror selfie to show the girls later and made my way out of the room.

"I'm ready!" I announced as I entered the living room, where Lando was absorbed in his phone. His eyes lit up as he looked up at me.

"You are so beautiful," he said, his gaze lingering on me unabashedly. His own outfit—a loose white button-up shirt and brown slacks—made me have very unpure thoughts.

"Thank you," I said, wrapping my arms around his neck and giving him a quick kiss.

"You pull it all together nicely," I added, adjusting his collar that I had inadvertently messed up. His hands settled comfortably on the small of my back.

"I try," he said softly against my lips before pressing another kiss to them. Taking my hand, he led me outside to where a car was waiting.

"Put this on," he said, presenting a blindfold.

"Hm, didn't take you for the type," I said, raising my eyebrows and smirking. He blushed at the comment before moving behind me and securing the blindfold over my eyes.

"Our safe word is 'feather,'" I continued with a playful tone.

"Sure, we can save that for later," he said, guiding me into the car. Once I was settled inside, he buckled me in and signaled the driver to start.

"Later huh? Wine, dine, andddd" I trailed off making him laugh.
