I woke up the next morning and deeply regretted my lack of self-control from last night. Lando was nestled into my bare body, looking absolutely adorable as he slept. I smiled at his cuteness, feeling a bit of relief that I remembered everything from the night before. At least I didn't do anything too wild—otherwise, I'd be dealing with some serious hangziety right now.

I reached for my phone and saw a flurry of messages from various friends, each one sharing posts and TikToks from last night.

BB Drew

Socials are going crazy

Oh god what about

Multiple videos from last night. Nothing crazy but the internets eating it up.

Can we facetime?

Incoming facetime from BB Drew

"One second," I whispered, trying not to wake Lando as I wriggled out of his embrace. He mumbled something incoherent, tightening his hold slightly before drifting back to sleep.

"Where are you going?" he groaned, half-opening his eyes.

"On the phone with Drew," I whispered back, carefully avoiding flashing Drew as I got out of bed.

"Hi Drew" Lando mumbled from under the covers, his voice muffled.

"Hey Lando!" Drew chuckled, clearly amused.

I grabbed a pair of shorts and a random sweatshirt, then stepped out onto the balcony. I settled into a chair, trying to avoid looking directly at the camera.

"God, I need coffee," I said, rubbing my face. Seeing my disheveled self on camera was a bit of a jump scare.

"Had a fun night?" Drew asked, laughing.

"Too much. Okay, what's the damage?" I asked, trying to keep the conversation light while avoiding my reflection.

"It's not bad, for you at least. Just videos of you dancing and having a blast. There's a clip of Lando talking with another girl, though," Drew said, his tone light but curious.

"Yeah, his ex-situationship was there. Apparently, she's best friends with Kika, one of the girls who was there," I explained.

"Oh, so you knew. Okay, that's good. I was nervous about that part," Drew said, visibly relieved.

"Yeah, I met her. She's very pretty and friendly," I said with a laugh. "But I was more worried about the whole dancing-on-couches thing."

"Honestly, it's not that bad. Just a bit of your wild side on display. Everyone's loving it," Drew said, leaning closer to the camera. "So, you and Lando are officially a thing?"

"We are. It's official now," I said, covering my face with my hands in a mix of embarrassment and happiness.

"I knew it!" Drew said, shaking his head with a grin.

"Yeah, yeah. Okay, enough about me. What about you? What have you been up to?" I asked, genuinely missing my best friend. Drew filled me in on what the group has been up to in Charleston, since they were all there now. I got mild fomo, but my flight was tomorrow morning so I didn't feel too bad.

Atfter an hour of catching up, Lando wandered onto the balcony, still half-asleep but curious. He plopped down next to me, giving Drew a sleepy wave.

"Hey Drew," Lando said, rubbing his eyes.

"Hey Lando, I hear you're coming to Charleston." Drew asked, teasing.

"Mhmm I'm gonna be an extra" Lando replied with a sleepy grin, wrapping an arm around me. "How've you been mate?"
