Summary:
Attempts have been made on the crown prince's life. He is now being guarded heavily - with a greater protection detail than the king himself. And the prince is to say the least sick of it. All he wants is a bit of freedom to enjoy life, but with his title and strict father there is little time to be just Arthur and not Prince Arthur.
One day, a young boy from a distant village comes to London and rents a flat through an old friend of his mother's. He gets a job at the palace museum, beginning as a cleaner. One day he meets the prince and they immediately hate each other and the prince even makes fun of Merlin's name.
But the two very different boys will find that old stories and present events will tie them together on an adventure to discover whoever it is that wants to kill members of the royal family. Secrets, old and new will turn up when least expected.
