Soobin's heart twisted as he caught Yuna's sly glance before she leaned in to kiss Yeonjun. It was like a punch to the gut, knowing she did it just to mess with him. He tried to shake it off, but it lingered, eating him alive.

Hyunjin's arms looped around Soobin's neck, pulling him closer. Their bodies were already pressed together, moving to the beat, but now it felt different—it felt more intimate.

"You know," Hyunjin teased, eyes sparkling with mischief, "your lips look pretty damn kissable right now."

Soobin blinked. He wasn't sure if it was the alcohol, the strobe lights, or just the sheer weight of everything crashing down on him, but before he knew it, he was leaning in.

And then, he kissed Hyunjin.

Hyunjin's eyes widened in surprise but only for a split second before he melted into the kiss. It was soft, gentle even, but that's all it was. There was no spark, no fireworks—just two pairs of lips pressed together in a fleeting moment of escape.

But it also meant something to Soobin.

He wasn't repulsed. The way he tilted his head, trying to capture Hyunjin's lips, it did have some effect. Not to his feelings necessarily, but it did confirm that he doesn't mind guys, doesn't mind them at all.

When they pulled apart, reality hit Soobin like a freight train. "Shit, Hyunjin, I'm—"

"Sorry? Don't be," Hyunjin interrupted, a small laugh escaping his lips. "Honestly, I'm impressed. Didn't know you had it in you, Soobs."

Soobin felt his cheeks flush, more embarrassed than anything. "You... You're actually the first guy I've kissed."

"Seriously?" Hyunjin arched an eyebrow. "Damn, I'm honored. Not bad for a first time."

They both laughed, the tension easing between them. It wasn't weird, just... comfortable.

The music pounded around them, but they were more focused on the conversation now, the playful banter that felt so natural.

Meanwhile, across the room, Yeonjun's eyes hadn't left them. He couldn't stop staring, even as Yuna tried to pull his attention back to her. She was practically draped over him, calling his name, but it was like he didn't hear her.

When she finally noticed where his gaze was locked, she followed it back to Soobin and Hyunjin, her eyes narrowing. Yuna wasn't the type to let things slide, especially not when it came to getting what she wanted.

But for now, neither Soobin nor Hyunjin noticed. They were just two friends, caught in a moment of unexpected connection, laughing off the awkwardness and trying to enjoy the night.

Yet, in the back of Soobin's mind, the hurt lingered. Because no matter how hard he tried to forget, Yeonjun was still there, haunting him, even in the middle of the dance floor.

And Yeonjun? Well, he couldn't take his eyes off Soobin. Not even for a second.
