As Galadriel peered over the hill, she felt relief flood her veins once she sees the settlement camp. Her eyes studied it, hoping to see a familiar friendly face, but she found none. So when Theo ran off to find his mother, Galadriel followed behind him slowly and silently.

Galadriel looked around, noticing the despair the fires caused and more her own. She knew losing the princess would surely have her vanished from Lindon, scorned by the High King for having his only heir killed in a blaze. Elrond's sad eyes staring at Galadriel, Sorin's haunting anger and her father, he was what she was afraid to face. She inhaled a sharp breath and she could smell burning flesh and sage all around her.

She went down and her eyes peered over to the bodies covered in sheets. She stopped in her tracks when she sees the familiar light golden almost white hair. Feeling like she could collapse, Galadriel walked over to the covered body, the cream colored sheet covered in blood and dirt. Her hands began to tremble as she reached for the sheet, trying her best to not get sick from the smell of burnt flesh.

Galadriel grabbed the edge of the sheet and carefully folded it back. The smell becoming stronger and she felt her bottom lip quiver in agony, she felt her eyes tear up and sees just how horrifying the body looked.

It was basically a scorched corpse, only bones and barely any skin on the body. Some ashes blowing off the body since the wind had picked up and Galadriel closed her eyes. She covered the body again and stood up, leaving the area to go to a tent where the wounded were staying.

She goes through the opening, enters the tent and she sees so many villagers who were suffering from their wounds or emotional damage. She sees Theo hugging Arondir tightly, both were relieved to see each other and Galadriel was happy for him when he noticed Bronwyn as well. Arondir notices Galadriel as Theo pulls away from the embrace and the three turn to look at her. They see how gloomy she seemed and she calmly walked up to them, glancing at the man who lay in a cot with a leg missing.
