"I'm...I'm sorry Alora." Sorin goes up to the princess, but Arondir pulled him to the side before he could do anything else. He then leads them out with Elendil following and Galadriel ran up to the princess as Halbrand pressed his hand to the cut on the side of her neck. "I'm fine. Galadriel please, calm our friend." Alora said to her and Galadriel hesitated for a moment, but she then walked away picking up her blade.

Halbrand inhaled a sharp breath as he helped Alora stand up straight and he led her out the barn.

Something felt terribly wrong and Alora was beginning to fear the worst.

"He should be in chains."
"He is grieving, I do not fault him for that."

Halbrand sighed in defeat knowing that Alora would defend her friend, so he finished wrapping her neck with a bandage and he moved her braided hair her back and off her shoulder. She could tell how tensed he was, so she held his hand that was resting on her lap and he looked into her eyes.

"I hate to see harm done to you." He said to her and she inhaled a breath. "I will live, Halbrand. The cut was not deep enough for stitches, it's not deep enough to threaten me." She reassured him as she gave his hand a light squeeze and he cupped her face, his thumb tracing her cheekbone. "Nothing can threaten a being like you. You will make a honorable queen." He said the last part in a hushed tone and her lips parted, she seemed to be radiant at the statement and he smiled at her. "A queen by my side, ruling all in such a kindness and becoming the kingdoms enchanting lady. My heart cannot wait for the war to end and I would like to ask for yours...I will be in agony if I have to wait such a time." He added with such excitement, it brought a smile to her face, closing her eyes and he leaned forward closing his.

He then closed the space between them, their lips connecting with each other and she cupped his face with her other hand to bring him closer. He could feel the light inside her radiate towards him, warming his very soul and he could not get enough of it.
