Alora's eyes snapped open and she sat up aware of her surroundings, taking in the scent and view she had. She knew she was below deck and she felt the soft fabric covering her body, a blue cloak. She threw her legs over the edge of the small cot and looked up to the deck noticing the men at work, but did not see Galadriel anywhere.

"Your friend is up on deck speaking to the captain." A voice said from the side and she turned her head seeing Halbrand emerge from the shadows. He was holding a cup and bowl then sat down on the box across from Alora then handed her the cup. "Are we saved or held against our will?" She asked him, curious as to what their situation was, and took the cup from his hand. "For now, I believe saved." He answered truthfully and she nodded confirming what she had felt earlier on the raft then drank the cool water from the cup. When she looked down to her hands, she noticed that the rags he had put on her were changed to clean bandages. He noticed her looking at her hands and cleared his throat making her look at him.

"I changed them. Didn't want it to get infected." He mentioned as she set the cup between her thighs and he handed the bowl to her which she gladly took. She grabbed the spoon and he could tell from the way she ate, it was completely different from Galadriel's. Alora was less desperate and completely elegant like if she were eating in front of a king, and he made another mental note as he tried to figure her out. "You have shown me a great kindness, Halbrand." She said to him and looked to his direction, which made him gaze his eyes upon her. "If I could reward you, I would." She said with a slight smile and he chuckled nodding. "You saved us from that creature, we are even." He assured her and she nodded taking another spoonful of food.

"Thank you." She said to him as she finished and set the plate to the side then finished the rest of her water. He nodded standing up and she went to stand up as well, but her legs feeling tired made her stumble to the side as the ship swayed and she felt Halbrand hold onto her arm to aid her. She sighed standing up straight and once again thanked him then went up the steps that led to the upper deck.

She felt the warmth of the sun hit her skin and she inhaled a breath as she looked around feeling like she was being watched, which she was by the crew. She blinked ignoring the stares and sees Galadriel who looked to the princess, eyes flooded with relief and she quickly walked over to her.

"Are you all right?"
"Are you?"

Galadriel nodded inhaling a breath and Alora looked out to the sea seeing they were going to port a familiar place. She walked to the edge staring out and couldn't believe just how beautiful the sight was to her eyes. It was the land of the star, the island of Númenor, which was a beauty to everyone whose eyes lay upon it.

Alora remembered the story Finrod had told her of this island, and the friends he made there. She inhaled a breath as they sail by a giant statue with a waterfall cascading down every detail of it. Númenor would either be her savior or her executioner, so she prepared for herself for either option and glanced to her side to see the captain looking at her, studying her.
