As day turned into night, Alora was walking down a hallway then went up to a guard who stood by the door. "I would like to speak to the man you have inside." She requested, he responded by opening the door and stepping to the side. She thanked him then went ahead and looked up at the steps. She goes up, but held up her dress slightly to not trip over it and once she finally made it up, she sees another pair of guards. She passed through them and could feel just how cold and dim it was in the holding cells.

She walks forward to the only cell in use and sees Halbrand sitting on the cot, staring off into a wall. She stands in front of his cell and he could immediately feel her presence since the room felt warmer, he turned his head and sees her standing there. A small smile appeared on his face and she put her hand inside, she was holding a small brown cloth and she held it up offering it to him.

He stood up walking up to her and he placed his hand underneath hers then slowly grabbed the wrapped item. As his hand lingered on hers, she couldn't help but to feel warm and his touch felt unique to her. Never had she felt so flustered and warm when someone would touch her, she wished to never stop feeling that way.

His hands slowly slipped away from hers and she could feel that warmth go away. She pulled her hand back, resting it on her side and he carefully unwrapped the cloth then saw what was inside. She had brought him some freshly baked honey cake, a smile appeared on his bruised face and he looked at her.

"Guards said you weren't eating." She pointed out to him as he glanced down at the warm cake. "I assume Galadriel told you already." He mentioned and she swallowed then slowly nodded. "Yes...She also told me that you had doubts. That you feel as if you deserve no honor." She added as she took a step closer to his cell and looked at him stand there, holding his honey cake. "I don't." He whispered sitting down on the cot and stared at the cake. "Why do you believe that?" She questioned with knitted brows.

Halbrand stayed quiet as he set the cake to the side and silently walked over to Alora. She looked at him confused and he held the cells bar, leaned slightly forward as he stared at her.

"There's a darkness within, one that I cannot ignore as much as I want to." He confided in her and she inhaled a breath as she took another step forward. "If I stay here, I can live a calm life. I can be what I couldn't be." He added and Alora grabbed the bars between him as she stared into his eyes. "Where there is darkness, there is light. Everyone has a bit of both, it is impossible to not have-"

"You care about me." He brought up to her and smiled which made her sigh. "You saved my life and Galadriel's. There is a debt to be paid." She shrugged to which he moved his hand to grip the bar under her hand, just inches apart. "Do you believe that I should go back to the Southlands?" He questioned unsure and she nodded. "Come with me. You're the rightful heir to the throne, we can save Middle-Earth." She insisted which made his gaze soften and he inhaled a shaky breath as he moved his hand up.
