~The flaps of a butterfly
~Have no effect on me
~Time just passes

~A curtain call happens
~An act comes to an end
~But there i was
~With a book on my lap
~And a butterfly passes
~Beautiful & rare
~Moment's to go through
~Time just passes

~My parents tales in front of me
~Characters delivering lines
~A play everyday it is
~Time just passes

~Now i'm alone but not lonely
~I've got my memories as company
~Rewinding them every time
~Even if the moment doesn't ask for it
~Time just passes

~Calluses on my hand's heal
~But my heart refuses to do that as well
~To just accept the reality
~Part of me crumble's every single time
~Time just passes

~I wake up in a daze
~And just like that it's the end of the day
~I grab my blanket in a daze as well
~And just like that it's another bright new day
~Time just passes

~Making those unbearable sorrow's "Okay"
~Beautiful time's in photo frames
~Reminiscing about everything again
~While i delete those mistakes
~Failing to permanently throw them away
~Time just passes

~I have not a say in what may come
~But as under God's grace we all are
~Given to us as the present
~Choosing to change before i regret it all
~Time just passes

~Waiting for my clock to end
~I end up staring at everything
~Thinking
~Every day a present like no other
~A gift i've liked opening every day
~Now dear friends
~It's your turn to guess what is next while -
~Times just passes
