~While waiting for lockdown to end
~You moved far away
~We can't even see each other every day
~Never having those laughs we used to have
~Fucking up everything like always
~I miss us just sitting on a bench
~While the class reeks havoc again
~Trying to hold it together i really am
~Me the perfectionist between us
~Couldn't even say a proper goodbye yet
~When you told me you'd changed school's already
~I almost fought the urge to throw my phone away
~But congratulations to you
~You'll find a new friend group too
~But hey don't forget
~Our rock's still with me
~Lemme send you a photo real quick
~Also i might add as well
~I miss you from wherever i am
~What happened was for the best right ?
~I don't know , do you ?
~Luck is never on my side
~Remember what we used to do
~How all those times we'd just let pass away
~Didn't know that they'll become like a precious gem
~I'll with you treasure it fully
~But hey don't forget to video call me truly
~I miss your silly face dear friend
~I've now fully accepted the fact
~We'll never meet face to face but
~I've become to terms with that
