Chapt. 31(Final)

Yoko went to visit her mother along her wife, it was Ize's birthday so the girl had made an incredible blue cake, Ize's favorite.

- Mom don't you think it's time to meet people..

- Daughter amazing of mine.. don't you think it's too soon..

- Almost three years seems soon to you?

- I'm fine like this.. really.

- Don't you feel alone?

- I have your mother's eight cats!

- Mom..

- Yoko I'm fine, I promise. How is married life going with you and Faye anyways?

- You ask me this stuff as if we haven't seen each other for months.. mom we saw each other a week ago!

- I know but now that I don't work at the company anymore, it's not like I see you every day.

- I feel that too and for the same reason how about you come with me to the welcoming party for the new CEO?

- Do you already have one?

- Yes, I didn't tell you before because we just hired her and I was super busy with the move.

- I can imagine, and does Faye help you?

- Of course she does, you never had complete trust in her but why?

- It's just a question and since you didn't answer the previous one... which was along the same lines.

- She helps me with everything, I chose the house and from the first minute she let me choose everything. If I want something out she takes it away and we put something else, like the couch and the curtains, they were horrible.. come look.- Yoko showed some photos on her phone to Ize while Faye came back from the kitchen.

- Here are your drinks ladies, no alcohol, just fruit and tonic water.

- Mhm you look great Malisorn and let me tell you that I never imagined seeing you not using alcohol... why is this?

Faye cleared her throat and sat next to Yoko with a puppy face looking at her wife, waiting for her reaction.  The mother looked at them expectantly, while raising an eyebrow as she took a sip of the drink that her daughter-in-law had just prepared.

- Mom, we're going to have a baby.

- What?! Now?!

- No, not now, but in a few months.

- I mean... are you pregnant?

- I am.- said Yoko with a smile.

- We are.- added Faye taking her wife's hand and leaving a quick kiss.

- But when did it happen?

- A couple of months ago we started looking for a donor.

- Why didn't you told me anything?

- I wanted it to be a surprise until I was one hundred percent sure, you know that artificial inseminations sometimes don't work.

- Congratulations I am so happy oh my god.. I'm going to be a grandmother, I can't believe it.- Ize hugged Yoko and then kissed her forehead.

The day of the party to welcome the new CEO arrived and Ize decided to show up, anyway she would have to deal with company matters sooner or later with the woman who they still hadn't told her who she was.

"Attention, people, we are going to welcome the new administrator and leader of all of you." Faye was at her side gazing with at her beautiful wife with a loving smile, letting her do the job.

"It is my pleasure to introduce you to someone you already know, but now will be in charge. My wife and I fully trust that she will carry out the work with all her great faculties, acquired from the knowledge and experience gained while working in this and other very prestigious companies. Ladies and gentlemen, it is my great pleasure to introduce your new CEO: Marissa Lloyd!!"

The attendees applauded and Ize, who was close to the girl, looked at her a little surprised and applauded like everyone else. Marissa no longer looked like that girl who only wanted to spend her time partying and traveling, now she was a woman as well as her daughter.  She did not doubt for a moment that if they had chosen her she, was worthy of the position.

- So this is the new boss..

- No please ma'am, you are still the boss and Phi Yoko too. I will answer to you.

- Mar, you don't have to call me ma'am, I've known you since you were what... ten years old?

- I'm not ten anymore, I'm almost thirty at any moment.

- Mar, you're exaggerating.- Yoko said laughing, joining the conversation.

- Okay then, I'm barely twenty-six, I'm a baby!

- You are.- said Ize, squeezing her cheeks.

- Mom, I'll leave you two talking to go with my wife, there are too many people around her and I don't like it.

- Yoko, you're married and you're expecting a child from her, are you still jealous? and I mean she's not in her thirties like you guys anymore. - Ize said and Marissa tried to hold her laugh.

- Nonsense! She's beautiful and I don't want anyone to get close to her, SHE IS MINE. - Yoko left the two woman looking straight to Faye and anything else.

- Seriously, is Yoko pregnant? I didn't know.

- Come to the bar with me, let's have a drink and I'll tell you more, by the way, I don't drink alcohol.

- Woah, me neither!

Yoko went to look for Faye on the dance floor where she's talking to a woman and two men, the investors and the head of production.

- I'm sorry for the interruption but I need to take Faye away from you for a moment, if you want to discuss issues with the current CEO, she starts tomorrow.  For now, enjoy the party, gentlemen, pleasure. - Yoko raised her glass and took Faye by the arm from there.

Once they were away in a corner with a view of the city, Yoko began to complain and Faye just smirked, she knew that her girl would be jealous forever and she was beginning to accept it.

- You are too jealous.

- No, you have to understand that you are mine.

- I am, but I have the right to talk to other people!

- Not if I don't give you permission.

- You let me go, I asked you.

- Faye, you know I'm right, don't make me remind you that you are only mine-

Faye interrupted her with a kiss and after accepting that her girl was right, she took her to dance and hugged her so that only she could hear what she said.

- I love you very much and you will be one of the happiest women in the world.

- What do you mean one of the women?

- The other one will be her. - said Faye touching her abdomen that was not yet noticeable.

- How do you know she will be a girl?

- I have a feeling.- said Faye thinking of Wanwand.

- If indeed is a girl.. I'll call her Wan... what do you think?- said Yoko.

- I couldn't agree more.

- Thank you, I love you Faye.

- I love you Yo.

They sealed their love with a kiss and just as they imagined a beautiful girl was born whom they called Wan in honor of the grandmother, mother, and friend that the amazing PhiWan was and will always be.
