IS AN OMEGA

Sailub followed Pon up to the third floor of the hospital, where the omega pheromone specialist was located.

Unlike the crowded hospital lobby downstairs, this area was much less busy and relatively quiet.

There was a faint strawberry pheromone scent in the air, leaking out from one of the rooms.

Sailub frowned at the smell, feeling a bit repulsed for some reason.

He thought that the orchid scent in Pon’s room was much nicer.

It was also Pon’s first time here. Technically speaking, as a beta, he didn’t know which way the omega ward was at all.

But now he was lying on a hospital bed, ready to be pushed into the room for a series of detailed examinations to confirm whether he truly had just presented as an omega.

In his mind, he thought it was unbelievable and must’ve been a mistake made by the doctor earlier.

At the same time, he couldn’t help feeling anxious and his eyes subconsciously searched for Sailub.

In this huge hospital, he only knew Sailub.

The one who grew up with him, his best bro, Sailub Hemmawich.

Sailub didn’t have time to say much to him and could only squeeze his hand.

Pon’s hand was burning, and the orchid scent on him seemed even stronger.

Even someone as dense as Sailub could sense it, this wasn’t just any orchid-scented perfume, but Pon’s pheromones.

It was a sweet and gentle scent that tickled the heart like a small hook, in stark contrast to Pon’s bold and fearless personality.

“I’ll be waiting outside for you. Don’t be afraid,” Sailub said in a low voice.

Then he let go of Pon’s hand and watched as he was pushed into the room for examination.

While waiting, Sailub sat alone on the bench outside.

This was his first time in the omega ward, and he felt inexplicably uncomfortable.

After a moment, a nurse came out of the room and saw Sailub sitting alone. She asked him, “You’re Thanapon’s older brother, right? Have you informed your parents? This is a big deal after all. It would be best for your parents to come.”

Only then did Sailub realize that he had forgotten to tell Pon’s parents.

“I forgot just now, I’ll inform them right away,” Sailub smiled at the nurse. “However, his parents are currently on a business trip, and his older brother and sister are attending university out of town. They may not be able to rush over here. Can you tell me what’s going on first?”

The nurse looked at Sailub for a moment.

This young man had maturity and stability beyond his age. He didn’t seem like a 17-year-old boy at all.

“Of course we’ll definitely tell you about the examination results and precautions,” the nurse said.

She looked at Sailub curiously and asked, “From what you said, you’re not Thanapon’s real brother right?”

“I’m his neighbor. We grew up together and I’m like an older brother to him,” Sailub answered casually. “We were born in the same hospital and have never been separated.”

There was only a four-month difference between him and Pon. When Pon was born, he was placed in Sailub’s baby bed not long after, and the two of them slept with their heads together.
