In the end, Pon never returned the black jacket to Sailub, he confidently draped it over himself instead.

Sailub didn’t ask for it back either. The two of them parted ways at the staircase and returned to their respective rooms.

However, as Sailub was walking upstairs, he heard Pon shouting from below, “I want to eat fried sesame balls tomorrow!”

“You wish, even making orders now?” Sailub glanced at him, but there was a hint of a smile on his lips. “You have to eat whatever I buy.”

But the next day, Pon still got to eat the fried sesame balls as he wished.

Though there were still about twenty days left until New Year’s Day, for high school students, time flew by like a galloping steed.

They were busy attending classes, doing homework, chatting, and playing around.

In a blink of an eye, it was already December 30th.

Mahidol High School was surprisingly conscientious this year.

Other than the third-year students, both the first years and second years got all three days off, not one day less.

It even made people feel a bit unreal.

“Seeing our seniors with their bitter and grudgeful looks, it feels kind of nice,” said Michael. “Normally, they have the most advantage when it comes to getting food in the canteen.”

The teaching building for the third years was right next to the canteen, so they always rushed in first to get their meals.

The first and second years could only follow behind and jump up and down in frustration.

Michael had failed to get the jumbo chicken leg from the canteen several times, so he felt quite resentful.

Belle was a bit speechless, “Are you stupid? When you’re a third year, it’ll be the juniors’ turn to gloat over your misfortune.”

“Whatever, who cares about next year,” Michael said arrogantly.

Before the holidays, as usual, there was New Year’s homework to complete.

But with Sailub and Pon around, the speed of completing their homework skyrocketed.

Pon’s desk was filled with snacks and milk tea, and his classmates eagerly served him as if he were a royal highness, treating him with utmost seriousness, as if handling a national treasure.

After all, their accuracy rate depended on this master.

Beside him, Sailub was helping them check their New Year’s Eve train tickets and the reservations they made for restaurants.

The classmates were moved to tears, “Ever since having P'Sai and P'Pon, I feel as if my high school life had become so much brighter.”

“Stop flattering,” Pon didn’t buy into his praises. He was getting frustrated with the homework, “Who came up with these stupid questions? It’s three times harder than usual.”

“Our Director of Education came up with it,” Neo enthusiastically answered.

Pon silently cursed again.

But no matter what, when the school bell rang, all the preparations for the New Year holiday were ready.

Everyone hurried back to the dormitory to pack their belongings, with plans to gather at the school gate the next day at 1pm.

After finally getting a break from school, Pon almost overslept the next day.

When he woke up, it was already noon.
He had no time for breakfast, he quickly freshened up and stuffed all the clothes and necessities he needed into his suitcase, then dragged the suitcase downstairs with a clatter.
