During dinner, the topic of Zer and Day’s marriage came up naturally .
Their relationship had been transparent and open from the beginning.
Although neither of them had formally announced it to their families, except for Pon, who was oblivious, everyone else in the family could tell that there was something between them.
In the beginning, Mikaela and Sammy had some concerns, not because they were unhappy about their relationship, but because young people can be quite unpredictable, they worried that if they break up, it would be awkward when the two families met.
Fortunately, Zee and Day didn’t pose such problems. Upon graduating, the two immediately prepared to get married.
After finishing dinner, the adults from both families sat together, continuing to chitchat and reminiscing about their youthful days.
The younger generation sat on the couch. Day, with great foresight, separated Moon and Zee, fearing they might start fighting again.
Pon munched on an apple and asked his brother, “How did you two get together?”
He looked at Zee with a hint of dissatisfaction. “They say rabbits don’t eat grass near their burrow, but you, P'Zee, you’re worse than a rabbit.”
Zee chuckled, hugging Day with an open and proud expression.
“Rabbits may not eat grass near their burrow, but I do.”
Pon expressed disdain with his face.
“In fact, I regret not making a move earlier,” Zee recalled the past with a hint of regret. “If I had known, I would’ve confessed to your brother in high school. Unfortunately, I had a lot of doubts at that time and always felt that he didn’t like me, so I dragged it out until university.”
As he spoke, Sailub also remembered, “Did you confess to P'Day in your sophomore year? I remember one night I woke up and saw you murmuring to the wall in the living room, saying ‘I like you’. I thought you were sleepwalking.”
Back then, Sailub had come downstairs just to get some water and was startled to see his brother standing in front of the wall in his pajamas, mumbling something to himself.
The living room light wasn’t even turned on, so it really gave him a fright.
But on a closer inspection, it sounded like his brother was saying, ‘I like you, be with me, I’ll listen to everything you say.’
Sailub stood on the stairs and listened for a while but couldn’t determine whether his brother was sleepwalking.
They say sleepwalkers couldn’t be easily awakened, so he simply ignored it and, without showing any brotherly concern, turned and went back to his room.
The next morning during breakfast, Sailub coldly observed Zee, who appeared perfectly normal except for some slight dark circles under his eyes. He didn’t seem different from usual.
He didn’t think much of it at the time.
But now, looking back, it was clear that Zee was practicing his confession.
Sailub chuckled and mocked his brother, “You’re such a coward. It’s just a confession, yet you still needed to rehearse for that.”
Zee rolled his eyes at his younger brother and retorted, “It’s easy for you to say when you’re not the one in that position. When you meet someone you like, you might be even more cowardly than me.”
Sailub raised an eyebrow, neither confirming nor denying.
"But I also don't quite understand, you two are both hotties, so how come neither of you has had a puppy love experience in high school?" Zee lifted his chin. "If you have someone you like, just tell me. I can give you some advice. Unlike our parents, I won't stop you guys from having an early romance. In my opinion, if you don't have someone you like in high school, then that would be such a waste."
