WRITING SELF-REFLECTIONS

Thirty minutes later, Pon and Sailub sat together in Noeul’s office, each on a chair, positioned at opposite ends of the desk.

Writing self-reflections.

Both Pon and Sailub were regulars in the office.

Despite their excellent academic performance, they skip classes, engage in fights, and even sleep during classes.

Every now and then, Noeul had to pull them in for some ideological education.

However, Noeul never anticipated that one day, Pon and Sailub would enter the office not for disciplinary reasons, but because they were in a romantic relationship.

What happened to the ironclad brotherhood?

What happened to being closer than real siblings?

Is this how you two treat each other as brothers?!

Noeul felt that he had been deceived.

He remembered the image of the two embracing at the school gate, and his temples started to throb.

Pon sat across from him, surprisingly well-behaved for the first time during a scolding, his eyes dark and bright like an innocent little animal, blinking at Noeul.

His face was indeed advantageous – even Noeul, who knew his true nature, couldn’t help but be momentarily confused, thinking that this child was quite obedient.

On the other side, Sailub, a handsome young man with broad shoulders and long legs, already exhibited the mature contours of an adult.

His sharp eyebrows and eyes exuded confidence, as if he considered this situation trivial, displaying a sense of ease.

Noeul sighed, feeling like he must have owed this class a lot of money in his past life to end up as their homeroom teacher in this life.

“Do you two have anything you want to explain? For example, this is just intimacy between good friends or a brotherly joke…?” Noeul asked weakly.

Pon sneaked a glance at him and said, “Would you believe that explanation if I gave it?”

Of course not.

Noeul crossed his arms and laughed coldly.

“Fine then, no need for more pointless words. Can you two break up?”

Pon and Sailub both froze for a moment, then turned to look at him as if he were an idiot.

Noeul felt veins popping on his forehead, but he pressed on, "Can you at least maintain some distance? Like not sitting together, changing your seats, or if that's not possible, transferring to different classes isn't out of the question either."

Before he could finish speaking, he heard Pon earnestly say, "Teacher, don't bother asking. You already know it's not reliable."

There was an awkward silence in the office for a few seconds.

Luckily, the other teachers had all left the office, leaving only the three of them there.

Noeul had to concede.

He looked at Pon and Sailub with confusion. “I really don’t understand you two. Is it only exciting to start dating in your final year of high school? Couldn’t you wait another year and do it in university? You two… forget it if I hadn’t caught you, but now that I have, do you expect me to turn a blind eye?”

Pon was amused upon hearing this, he knew that Noeul wasn’t prepared to take serious action against them.

He dragged his stool forward, as if preparing to confide in Noeul. “Teacher, you’re experienced too. When emotions run deep, you can’t help it. I didn’t want to either, but my dear Sai is just too handsome…”
