In the first week at the training base, Pon found that he could still barely suppress his yearning for Sailub.
He didn’t even have enough time to draw, and after class, he only had time to wash up and sleep, where would he get the time to think about his boyfriend?
Career-oriented omegas like them were indeed so ruthless and cold.
What’s a boyfriend good for?
Can it be eaten?
If Sailub called him and he was practicing in the studio, he would be shooing Sailub away within minutes, even sternly lecturing him, “What’s wrong with you? Are you still studying or not? You only know to call me. If you keep doing this, I’ll tattle to Nono remotely. Whether you study or not doesn’t matter, but I still have to draw.”
Sailub: “…?”
He tried to communicate with Pon and make him understand that his boyfriend’s mental health should not be neglected.
Even taking care of a pet requires regular attention, so why should a boyfriend be neglected?
This was not only cruel but also unreasonable.
But Pon didn’t give him a chance.
He casually kissed his phone a few times, sounding as soulless as a scumbag, and said things like, “I love you the most,” “See you when I come back,” “Okay, okay, we’ll talk when I’m back.”
Then coldly hung up the phone.
Sailub almost crushed the phone.
However, since his boyfriend was determined to train diligently, Sailub had no choice but to study.
He even stopped skipping classes and, like all the prospective third-year students, stayed in the classroom to write practice exams.
In the end, during the midterm exam a week later, he left the second-place student far behind with a big difference of around ten points.
The second-place girl almost cried from frustration.
Noeul, on the other hand, was overwhelmed with joy and began to think that Pon’s absence had its benefits.
But after a week passed, Pon’s ironclad straight-male omega persona completely crumbled.
For three consecutive days, he dreamt of Sailub.
He dreamt of the two of them going on a movie date, of Sailub taking him to the rooftop to have a barbecue, and of them hiding on the balcony, sharing a kiss under the cover of the night.
But upon waking up, he was left alone on the single bed.
There was no Sailub, no holding hands, and no hugs.
Only the white ceiling in the dormitory, the faint light of dawn outside the window, and the crisp chirping of birds.
Pon shrank under the blanket, opening his eyes that still had traces of sleepiness.
He felt that as a cool guy, he indeed had a weakness for beauty.
That evening, he skipped a class and had a video call with Sailub.
He didn’t enter his dorm room and just sat in the hallway, leaning against the wall.
The window was open, offering a view of the starry sky.
The summer night breeze carried a faint fragrance of lotus, and there was no noise, only the chirping of insects, which was also quite gentle.
Sailub didn’t mock him for his change of heart.
