Noah's pov
"Mom where is the poster I made for y/n yesterday?" I asked. "Noah the paint is still wet" she said. "Bro what I can't do this right now I can't even find the basket" I said.
"Nelson put it in your car" she said. "Ok good but mom use your little hair dryer and dry the paint" I said. "Noah don't tell me what to do" she said. "You're right sorry" I said.
"Alright I can see what I can do before your lunch ok" she said. "Ok mom thanks now where the hell is Niles?" I asked. "Sleeping" she said. "Mom" I said.
"He's sick calm down and go to school" she said. "Ok" I said. I grabbed my keys and got to the car and saw Nelson in the front. "Where is your poster?" He asked.
"Mom is gonna dry the paint" I said. "Why are you even asking y/n to homecoming if she is your girlfriend?" He asked. "Worry about getting a girlfriend instead of me" I said.

Y/n's pov
"What is jasmine and the rock star?" I asked. "Probably a different version of Jack and the Beanstalk" my friend Taylor said. "What the flip" I said. "Yea" she said.
"So you and kd" I said. "Girl, he asked me yesterday stop" she said. "Sorry he asked you to homecoming and it was so cute" I said. "He used a classic though" she said.
"Boo I don't give a shit what the poster said" I said. "Taylor will you put a pep in my step to hoco?" She said. "If you are so picky you should've asked" I said.
"You're right" she said. "Girl bye" I said. "Y/n and Taylor is that conversation about the book or something else?" The teacher asked. "I don't care about a girl and a rock" I said.
"Well leave" she said. "No" I said. "Ok then talk about Jasmine and the Rockstar" she said. "Ok then" I said. Me and Taylor looked at each other. "Taylor I wanna see my man" I said.
"He's late" she said. "Yea you're right actually" I said. "He's probably in a class he's not supposed to be in" she said. "I think you're right" I said. "Yea I know" she said.
"Bitch I wanna beat your cousin's ass for trying to talk to my boyfriend into trying to kiss me" I said. "Are you telling me you and Noah have never kissed?" She asked.
"Oh no like he wants us to do it in front of him and Noah told him he didn't wanna do something that would make me uncomfortable ever since my last relationship" I said.
"Noah is so sweet" she said. "Yea I know" I said. "Ladies the book is not called All About My Boyfriend" the teacher said. "You hatin ass hoe" I mumbled.
Just before she could say anything there was a knock at the door. "You are late" she said making me get excited. Noah walked into class trying to dab her up.
"Nah? Ok I didn't wanna touch you anyways so yea" he said walking up to me and Taylor. "Move Taylor this isn't your seat" Noah said loudly. "Taylor move" the teacher said.
"I was gonna move ya assholes" she said getting up and grabbing her stuff. Noah sat next to me and looked at me. I nodded and he gave me a kiss on the cheek.
Since my last relationship Noah asks me for permission to kiss me when we're at school. "So what did you do today?" He asked. "It just started" I said.
"Well I am gonna go get us something from wherever for lunch because I lowkey can't eat school food" he said. "I know I can't either" I said. "What are you reading?" He asked.
"We have to read this damn book called Jasmine and the Rockstar" I said. "Sounds like Jack and the Beanstalk" he said. "Yep" I said. "Well I'm not reading" he said pulling his phone out.

Time skip
Noah's pov
It was 10 minutes before lunch and my mom is on her way with the poster and I'm in Nelson's class because I need him to do something for me.
"Alright so when mom gets here I'll tell you and I need you to sprint into the cafeteria and scream for y/n to just like come outside immediately" I said. "Ok now get the fuck out" nelson said.
"Whatever" I said. I walked out his class and walked to mine which was in math with y/n of course because our schedules ended up being the same somehow.
When I got back there y/n had already took my notes. "Oh thanks" I said sitting down. "Yea you're welcome but uhm why do you keep leaving every class? She asked.
"I have stuff to do" I said. "Oh ok" she said. "Well actually I keep going to Nelson's classes so I know he's actually doing work" I said. "Oh I got it" she said.
Soon the bell rang and I gave y/n a quick hug before going outside. I didn't even give her a chance to question me. And when I got out there I saw my mom.
"Mom there you are is it done?" I asked. "It's been done it's also been dry it was just the lighting" she said. "Oh ok" I said. Just then kd and Taylor were out here.
"Nelson is in there now" Taylor said. "Ok uhm get the basketball" I said. As soon as I said it Nelson came sprinting out. "She's coming!" He said out of breath.
Soon y/n came outside and her jaw dropped.
"Y/n will you go to hoco with me?" I asked. "Yes Noah of course I will why would I say no?" She asked happily.
She ran up to me and gave me a hug and I hugged her back. And she did something she didn't like doing in front of people. She kissed me on the lips.
Yea the key word is she did it not me she. I kissed her back but it wasn't for long because she will still get embarrassed. She pulled away and just hugged me.
"I love you soo much" she said. "I love you too" I said. "No I am being so for real right now" she said. "I am too" I said. "Definitely getting hoco queen and king" Taylor said.
