Okayyyy, just a quick note before this chapter about two things. I've decided to skip the whole "Nightsisters arc" due to the fact that Dooku was ordered by Sidious to kill Ventress, and since Mordain has long since split from Sidious, he wasn't ordered to kill her, thus, he chose to keep her alive, along with the fact that their bond as "brother and sister" makes them closer than Dooku was with her. But do not fear, I have a plan that will include the Nightsisters.

As for the second thing, this chapter will contain twists and will be one of those chapters where things don't follow the series and things will change like the ARC Troopers chapter I did, where things took a massive turn.

Alright then, ON WITH THE BOOK!!!

The Citadel planet's upper atmosphere:

Count Mordain and his apprentice, Darth Viruss, or Drina, were on the Count's personal ship as they flew to meet with the Warden of their special prison planet, the citadel.

Drina: Tell me master, why do we need to come here?

Mordain: Because my apprentice, the Citadel currently holds a Jedi, who has obtained vital intelligence to us that would help along this war effort drastically, but also prove seriously damaging to our cause if the Republic get it.

Drina: So who is this Jedi? And what is the information?

Mordain: (Remains emotionless) Jedi Master Piell. And the information he holds are the coordinates for the secret Hyperspace lanes called the Nexus route. The Nexus route leads to both the Republic and Separatist home worlds. See why I say it could both be beneficial and dangerous to us?

Drina: Yes my lord. But what are we hoping to achieve by going their personally? I hear the Warden of the Citadel is a no-nonsense brutal, nasty piece of work who's killed and broke many Jedi.

Mordain: True, he has, and he is. But the issue lies with Master Piell himself. I know him to be stubborn and unbreakable via the methods that Sobeck uses. Thus, to ensure our victory in this war, we must go their personally, and interrogate both his captain and him.

Drina: (Slightly puzzled) Why the captain? Surely he can just be killed and thrown to the side.

Mordain: Under normal circumstances, yes. But not this one. Knowing how crafty the Jedi are, Piell will have half the coordinates, and given the other half to his highest ranking officer, in this case, his captain. Speaking of which, I grant you full permission to do whatever you have to, to get his captain to talk.

Drina: Why?

Mordain: Because his captain is a distasteful, loathsome, pompous, egotistical, narcissistic, slimy, scumbag known as Tarkin. From what I've heard, he's disliked by most level headed beings in the Republic, and only endorsed by corrupt officials like Sidious. Speaking of which, he's also Sidious' puppet, so that'll be a good way to send him a message.

Drina smirked and cracked her knuckles. She could tell she would enjoy this VERY much.

Drina: And what will you being doing my lord?

Mordain grinned and stared ahead with a victorious grin.

Mordain: I, shall be making sure our Jedi friend gives up his half of the coordinates. Once he does, there'll be one less Jedi to worry about.

He grinned as Drina nodded and they both entered the prison planet's atmosphere, before promptly landing at the Citadel landing pad, where they were met by Mordain Commando droids, and the Warden himself, Osi Sobeck.
