Just as a pre-chapter note. This chapter won't actually be focused on the POV of Ahsoka and Riyo, but more of the POV of Mordain. Also, there will be changes to this chapter to make it more entertaining and will involve a lot more of Mordain.

Also, get ready for some Ahsoka and Mordain moments :)

On with the chapter!!

Serreno:

Mordain was sitting at his desk overseeing a rather complicated issue. Pantora had been blockaded by the Trade Federation, and even with the "talks" he had with Gunray and a few of his associates, they would not budge, and anything else that happens could be seen as infighting, and used as a rallying call against the Separatists, strengthening the Republic's morale, which is something that he did not want.

Throwing his pen down, Mordain growled. Gunray was pushing his limits, and if he wasn't careful, Mordain would send Grievous after him to make sure he didn't turn into a loose end. Not that he had a problem with killing Gunray personally, but if it got out that he did so, chaos would ensue and then it would surely lead to the Separatist council splitting. Gunray's allies, such as the greedy ones, on one side, and then the loyalists such as San Hill, and Poggle, on the other. And a schism, was something, he could NOT afford.

Just then, who should appear? But the source of the problem, Nute Gunray.

Mordain: What the Kriff do you want Gunray?

Gunray: (Smirking) Merely to update you on our progress my lord. Our Trade Federation ships have been successful in blockading Pantora.

Mordain: (Seething) Gunray. I've told you once, I shall tell you again. Remove the blockade.

Gunray: (Still Smirking) We cannot do that my lord. Pantora has not been paying its taxes, and we have a business to run.

Mordain: (Growling) I'm warning you Gunray. I swear, I will come down there and show you WHY I don't lose in a battle. Thanks to you, my GENUINE, offer of aid to Pantora, seem like a damn ploy.

Gunray: (Smirk diminishes a little) Still my lord, I cannot do anything until Pantora has paid its dues.

Mordain: Damnit Gunray! Dooku may have put up with your slimy behaviour, but I won't! Either you keep the blockade and your life is retribution for your actions against my wishes, or, you remove the blockade, and I extinguish the thought of having you replaced as Viceroy, by someone who's not a complete IDIOT!!!

Gunray now looked less cocky and more scared as Mordain eyed him. Seeing no way out, Gunray looked around and had the signal cut off immediately, further enraging the Sith.

Mordain: Fine. You want to play that way Gunray? Ohhh, I'll make you PAY!!

He snarled as he stood up. Even though the war was going on and there were still matters that needed resolving, Mordain was MORE than willing to stick it to Gunray, in fact he knew who else would love to stick it to the slimy Neimodemian.

Mordain: Lady Viruss, we are heading off. Be ready as soon as you can.

He said as Drina walked into the room with her hood down, her long hair cascading down her shoulders.

Drina: Where we off to my lord?

Mordain: Gunray's making moves without my permission. It's time we put him in his place.

A great big smirk appeared on the Chiss' face. One that screamed "I'm going to love this mission" to the high heavens.

Drina: Do I get to hit him my lord?
