Jedi Temple, Coruscant:
Anakin sat in the council chambers with the rest of the High council, with Yoda, Mundi, and Plo attending via hologram. The hidden Sith Lord could feel Vader clawing inside him, begging to be let out, begging to show the Jedi council how much they'd underestimated him. But Anakin had to remain in control for now, considering that it was too early for Vader to show up. Besides, Anakin knew that Operation Circulation was almost at its ignition point, all the Sith needed now...was a Jedi to go and engage Grievous.
Mundi: Palpatine thinks General Grievous is on Utapau?
Anakin: A partial message was intercepted in a diplomatic packet from the Chairman of Utapau.
Yoda: Act on this, we must. The capture of General Grievous, defenseless it will leave Count Mordain. Weakened he will be. Quickly and decisively, we should proceed.
Anakin: The Chancellor has requested that I lead the campaign.
In fairness, Anakin didn't care whether or not he was sent to go and "engage" Grievous. If he was chosen, then the Jedi had placed him next to an ally of his, and the both of them could cause immeasurable damage to Republic forces. If he wasn't, then he would stay on Coruscant, and catch the Jedi off-guard. Both options were favourable.
Mace: (Annoyed) The council will make up its own mind, who is to go, not the Chancellor.
Yoda: A master is needed, with more experience.
Mundi: I concur. Master Kenobi should go.
Yoda: Suggest another master go with him, I do. Master Unduli, I suggest.
Mundi: Agreed. Aye.
Windu: Aye.
Obi-Wan: Aye.
Mace: Very well, council adjourned.
Anakin felt angry. Of course Obi-Wan got to go and engage Grievous, and sending Luminara? That was just asking for trouble on the Jedi's part, considering she thought that being cold and emotionless was what it meant to be a Jedi. Anakin quietly hoped that Luminara would meet her fate on Utapau, because out of all the Jedi, she was one that he WISHED, Grievous would kill. But still, whilst he didn't actually care if he did go or not, he was indeed sick of Obi-wan always taking the spotlight and not being the right master. Make no mistake, Obi-Wan was a good teacher, one of the best, but when it came to Anakin...he was just the wrong person to teach him. After the whole "Rako Hardeen" incident, Anakin had been forced to face the truth that Obi-Wan was never going to help him with his emotions, rather order Anakin to suppress them.
For someone like Anakin, who came into the Jedi order at the age of nine, with the mental trauma of being a slave for so long, it was impossible for him to suppress his emotions. If he'd been taught by someone such as Plo, or even Yoda, maybe Qui-Gon, if he had still been alive, then that would be a COMPLETELY different story, but with Obi-Wan, he was just too strict with the code, and thanks to him barely ever helping Anakin with his mental trauma, it had just been one big spiral downwards, making Anakin feel bitter and angry at both the order and his now former teacher.
Now, he blamed Obi-Wan for a fair few issues, and both Plagueis and Mordain had actually done with Obi-Wan couldn't. Healed his mental scars. Those two, masters of the Sith, two of the most powerful, slightly sadistic, wise, dark, cold, passion-driven individuals, who were lifelong enemies of the Jedi, had actually took it upon themselves to heal him and help him with his past.
