Chapter 9: Kamino

Grievous: My Lord, I have devised a plan to cripple the Clone forces that the Republic relies on.

General Grievous stated as he stood with both Ventress and Drina at his side. Ventress and Drina both exchanged looks, their minds thinking the same thing. Whenever Grievous came up with a plan, it was usually very destructive, and relied on pure muscle, instead of brains.

Drina: Mhm and how many droids are going to get destroyed this time?

Ventress: The record is over 2000 in less than a minute.

Grievous: That is a lie! My forces are the best!!

Drina: (Smirks) Yeah, when you aren't there to do the planning general.

Grievous growled as Ventress had to stifle a laugh. Both Drina and Grievous often argued over planning, and it often resulted in arguments that would last over an hour until they both wore themselves out.

Mordain: Enough.

He said with authority, making the three pipe down.

Mordain: Grievous, let's hear the plan. I want to see what you have come up with.

Grievous: (Sounding and looking smug) Of course my lord. The plan is simple, have a small fleet in orbit that acts as the main attacking force, whilst in fact, there are already droid forces under the sea on Kamino. When our small frigates get attacked and inevitably dismantled from the attack, the ship containers, which are full of aquatic droids, are shot down to the planet and rendezvous with the underwater forces already there. Then, we stage the attack, and utterly destroy Kamino.

Mordain nodded as Grievous looked proud of himself, whilst Ventress and Drina both sighed and folded their arms, there was a reason they were often called 'sisters'.

Mordain: A good plan, but, I have some additions to it that would make it even more rewarding.

Grievous lost his smug look instantly, whereas the two adoptive sisters gained rather smug smiles themselves, as Mordain elaborated.

Mordain: You see my friend, whilst your plan would work, there is much we can benefit from if it is combined with more ideas that I have been thinking of. Whilst I am in agreement with sending a small fleet and having them shot down on purpose, it needs to be more believable, because knowing the Jedi, they will probably pick up on it rather quickly, and then the whole plan is exposed and everything goes up in flames. So that's one addition, make it more believable, make it more your style General. As for the other additions, they are simple. Lady Virrus, and Ventress, will be leading the underwater forces already there on Kamino, but when the attack is launched, they will go for the main clone DNA, which they will recover, it could show us weaknesses and unlock new possibilities for our army besides the competent droids. Speaking of which, that is another thing that shall be added to the plan, you will be using competent commando droids and competent aquatic droids instead of imbeciles, this is an important mission, so they are needed.

Drina: And what about me my lord?

Mordain smirked as he faced his apprentice.

Mordain: You shall be joining me in facing down the Jedi, and destroying Tipoca city. Just because we want the war to drag on so that the Republic wears themselves out, doesn't mean we can't make it hard for them. If we destroy Tipoca city, the Kaminoans will have to relocate ALL of their resources and knowledge to the site known as "Base 1468". Not only will it take them time to do so, but it will impact the amount of clones they can produce as a whole, meaning, it will make it easier for us to fight them without sustaining heavy losses. When Ventress has secured the Clone DNA, and when Grievous has decimated the forces on Tipoca city, I will summon my personal fleet, and my capital ship will use it's laser to do the majority of the damage, whilst my combat frigates and ultra combat frigates will open fire finishing off Tipoca city so that they cannot possibly re-build. Are we clear on the plan?
