Okay, so, before anyone gets mad at me for skipping "Shadow Warrior" I have my reasons. The main one being that Mordain is trying to change, and what Dooku did on Naboo is going against what Mordain is trying to heal from, so, he decided to ultimately NOT attack Naboo, and left it well enough alone as a way to try and change himself for the better, by not going through with some of Dooku's or Sidious' plans.
As for why I'm not doing Slaves of the Republic or anything like that, well, Dooku didn't appear in the latter, and allowed the Colonists to be kidnapped, again, something Mordain would never do, so, it only makes sense that Mordain would appear in the last episode.
I did warn you all about the MASSIVE changes I would be making, I mean, that's the whole point of an AU.
Now, on with the chapter!!!
-------------------
Zygerrian System:Count Mordain and Darth Viruss were both fuming beyond belief. Their thoughts to be "allies", the Zygerrians, had used THEIR forces, THEIR droids, to wrongfully abduct an entire colony of Togruta colonists, something Mordain would never approve of, from right under their noses. They'd obviously used imbecile droids, because the Mordain ones would have gunned them down without a second thought and then left the planet well enough alone. Mordain didn't desire to bring war to a peaceful world that couldn't defend itself, it was...shameful, and dishonourable.
In hindsight, Mordain should have probably ended the alliance, and invaded Zygerria whilst butchering the slaver species immediately after Dooku's death, but with everything going on, it became a thought that was pushed to the side. Now look what it had cost him. More distaste from the Republic, and yet more blame.
If there was one thing Mordain hated, it were slavers. They had no honour, no code, no kriffing morals, and in his opinion, were just as bad as Sidious was. Bringing his fighter out of Hyperspace, he saw the familiar slave-ridden planet in front of him. It sickened him to see such a thriving world.
At first, he'd wanted to outright invade and do the job with brute strength, but Drina had talked him out of it, and suggested meeting with the Zygerrian queen and prime minister first to see if they could solve the issue diplomatically.
Drina: Master, I can sense your anger. It's...choking.
Mordain: (Seething) I don't intend to let up, my apprentice. These kriffs took advantage of our alliance and resources, and kidnapped peaceful people. An entire colony of Togrutas, abducted just like that. I refuse to be kind to a queen who is nothing more than a pest to me.
Drina: The Republic and Jedi have probably gotten involved because of it.
Mordain: I expect they have Lady Viruss. It does not matter. Once we are done here, whether it be by military might, or diplomatic pressure, the slaves will be freed and sent back to their homes, and if the Jedi are there, we ignore them and go about our business. I hold myself accountable for every slave's situation on that planet, because I didn't end the alliance when I should have.
Drina: (Comfortingly) Master. That is not your fault. You were busy, and the Zygerrians at the time promised to behave. They lied. That, can never be your fault.
Mordain: (Somewhat guilty still) I still have some hand in their situation...
As they got closer, the communicator went off and the Prime minister, Atai Molec, of Zygerria appeared, looking displeased.
Molec: My Lord, to what do we owe--?
Mordain: (Cuts him off) Zip it Molec. I know what you did with MY forces behind my back. Now you get me a meeting with the queen.
