Charlotte was shaking uncontrollably she didn't know what to do so she just sat there. Autumn and Marjorie both hugged Charlotte. They sat and hugged her for 5 minutes. No one saying a single word.
The silence was broken when they heard talking coming from outside. A female and a male.
Marjorie stands up leaving autumn to comfort Charlotte. She opened the office door and saw Mia stood there. Demanding for Reece to tell her where Charlotte is.
Marjorie's pov
I walk out the office and see Mia.
It is taking me every ounce of self restraint I have to go lean over and throttle Mia for what she has done to Char.
"Mia what are you doing here?" I ask
"I'm taking char out for lunch, where is she?" Mia asks
"Chars not going anywhere with you right now" I say,
"I don't think you can decide what she does Marjorie, you're her manager not her mother." Mia argues
"No you're right I'm her manager, so if I think any of my staff or children are in any danger I can put this nursery on lockdown so she can't leave."
I didn't mean to say that. It was out of anger.
'My god Marjorie you are such a pillock' I say to myself
"What has Char told you?" Mia demands to know,
"Nothing, nothing at all.."
Mia barges past me and storms into the office.
No one's pov
Mia storms in to the office.
She see's Charlotte in the corner of the room crying with autumn next to her.
She walks up to Charlotte.
Marjorie and Reece right behind her.
"Mia you need to leave now" Reece demands, he heard what Mia had done to Charlotte through the door,
Mia ignores him
"What's wrong sweetheart?" Mia says sounding worried while rushing over to Charlotte.
Charlotte has a terrified look on her face once again.
Autumn stands up.
"Mia stop leave her" she says
"I'm not doing anything, char can I talk to you please? In private?"
Marjorie Reece and Autumn look at Charlotte for confirmation to leave them alone.
Charlotte nods her head.
Marjorie Reece and autumn leave the office.
Mia closes the office door and locks it because she knows they're all nosey and try coming in.
"Charlotte what did you tell them?"
"N.. nothing I didn't tell them anything."
"Then why does Marjorie think you're in danger?"
"Erm I- I don't know Mia"
"WHAT THE FUCK DID YOU TELL THEM?"
Mia shouts slamming her fist on the desk.
Hearing Mia shout, Marjorie Reece and Autumn try to run into the office, they realise she locked the door so begin banging on the door, they're all terrified of what Mia will do.
"Mia I promise I didn't say anything!" Charlotte crys,
"DONT LIE TO ME CHARLOTTE"
"Mia I'm not I promise, please believe me Mia" Charlotte begs
"YOU DONT GET TO KEEP DISRESPECTING ME LIKE THIS!"
"MIA OPEN THE DOOR" the three from outside shout.
"Charlotte come on, we're going home" Mia commands angrily.
"What no I haven't finished work" Charlotte protests
"I don't care I can't trust you to keep your fucking mouth shut so we're leaving"
"Okay Mia" Charlotte agrees to avoid angering the redhead anymore.
