-The next day at work-
"What lunch are you on today Charlie" I ask
"I'm on 1st today" she says
"Ah me to would you maybe like to go get some lunch today?" I say
"Erm yeah sure that sounds nice" she answers.
"Ah grand okay then" I say
No one's pov
Sorscha and Charlotte are just about to leave to get lunch, Marjorie signals at Sorscha to come into her office.
"Hiya Marjorie you alright?" Sorscha says
"Yeah I'm okay thank you, but I know you're going out with Charlotte for some lunch so can you do me a favour?" Marjorie asks
"Yeah of course, what is it? Sorscha asks.
"I'm sure it'll be fine but if you see Mia at all will you message me please?" Marjorie asks
"Yeah okay then, is everything okay?" Sorscha says concerned,
"Yeah I'll explain later but please message me if you see her even from a while away, any sight of her message me." Marjorie says
"Okay Marjorie will do"
Sorscha left the office worried,
'What would happen if they saw Mia?' She thought
"Are you ready to go Sorcsha" Charlotte called from down the hallway.
"Yeah I'm ready let's go" she reply's
Sorschas pov
"I'll drive Charlie, wait where is your car I drove past your house this morning and your car wasn't there?" I ask
"Oh it's at the pub still" She replies.
I notice she has a bit of a shake in her voice.
"How come it's still there? Didn't you go on Saturday?" I ask, confused
"Um yeah yeah, I just haven't had time to go get it yet" she says.
I can tell her mood has completely changed, she's gone all quiet and her voice is shaking abit like she's about to cry.
She's not her normal bubbly self.
"Charlie are you okay?" I ask
"Hm? Yeah I'm fine don't worry" she says.
I'm abit worried, she came to work with lots of bad bruises on her arms, Marjorie told me to message her if I see Mia and when I brought up Saturday, Charlotte becomes quiet.
I worry about Charlie, she doesn't tell people if somethings bothering her, she just lets it build up inside of her.
"We're here now" I say as we arrive at the cafe
"Okay" char says
-they walk into the cafe and sit down-
"I'll go and order if you want, what are you getting?" I ask
"I'll just have a sandwich and water please" Char responds
"Okay I'll go order it" I say
-30 minutes later-
"I'll go pay and then we can head back" I say standing up
"Okay here's some money" Charlie says handing me money
I pay for the food. I walk back to the table to see if Charlottes ready to go.
She's not there. I frantically run to the bathroom and shout for her but I don't get an answer, just some weird looks from an old lady.
I run out of the cafe and see Charlotte stood there.
