It's lonely here

Marjorie's pov

Autumn spent the whole morning constantly checking her phone.
Then it rings.
Autumn frantically picks up the phone.
I could only hear Autumns side of the call.
"Hello?" She says.
"Okay yes I'll be right over, thank you for calling"

"Is everything okay?" I ask
"Yes Charlotte has her MRI now and they said she's worried the hospital asked if I can come in."
"Okay well keep me updated and I'll see you later." I say
"Bye Marjorie" she says as she rushes out of the door.

Autumns pov

I rushed as fast as I could to the hospital, I promised myself I wouldn't leave the hospital until visiting hours end.
I arrived at the hospital and walk into the reception.
As they walk me to Charlottes room they say, "Charlotte didn't want us to call you, she didn't want to bother you, however I thought it would be best."
"Thank you for ringing me I really appreciate it"

I walk into Charlottes hospital room.
I saw Charlotte sat on her bed. She looked like she has been crying.
"Charlotte?" I say
She turns her head to look at me
"Autumn?" She says, sniffling, "What are you doing here?"
"The hospital called me, I told you don't worry about bothering me," I say
"I know I just didn't want to be annoying,"
"Don't worry you're not, why were you crying?" I ask
"I was just worried. I don't know why I'm here, and I don't know how long I'm going to be here for. It's just so lonely here" She says
"I don't think you'll be here for much longer, maybe just another night, but I'll be here all day," I say, "now you need to get the MRI."
I see the doctors come in and take Charlotte away.

While Charlotte is out of the room I get a message from Marjorie,

M- Hi autumn, is Charlotte okay?

A- Hi Marjorie, she's okay, just a bit worried, she just feels quite lonely here.

M- Okay we'll if there's anything I can do let me know

A- I will thanks Marjorie
