Teddy bear

A/N~ I don't know what happened with the last part and why it just says starfish, I don't know what I did.

Charlotte really struggled to sleep. She was up most of the night. She sat down with all her daughters toys, she missed them so much.

Charlotte was exhausted.
Eventually she fell asleep.
She fell asleep hugging her daughters teddy bear.
She misses them.

Everyone woke up late in the day.
From about 11 they started waking up.
They all needed to get home so Autumn went to tell Charlotte.
She walked up to the room Charlotte was in and slowly opened the door.
She saw her asleep hugging the teddy bear.
She walked over to her and shook her gently to wake her.
"Me and everyone else are going now, I'll come back later to bring you to the doctors okay?" She said
Charlotte mumbles okay.
"Why don't you head back to your room, you look exhausted and your bed will probably be more comfortable" Autumn suggests.
"No I'm okay thanks" Charlotte mumbles.
Even though the bed was made for a 3 year old Charlotte was so comfy. She really missed her girls and she felt less alone being in here.
"Okay well I'll see you later then, message me when your up" Autumn says
"Okay and do you want to take the spare key, incase I don't hear you or something" Charlotte says still half asleep
"Yeah sure, see you later" autumn says quietly closing the door.
Everyone heads out to Autumns car.
Autumn was the only one that wasn't hungover, well except from Carly but none of them wanted to risk their lives, so Autumn drove them all home before returning home with Winter.

Charlotte decided she would wake up so she could get ready.
Her appointment was at 3pm so she had enough time.
She walked downstairs to get some breakfast. She brought the teddy with her.
Charlotte decided to make some yogurt with fruit as it was quick to eat.
Once she had eaten she headed upstairs to get ready for the day.
She picked out a pair of leggings and a crew neck jumper.
Her hair was still straight from last night so she brushed it and left it down.
She did her makeup like she normally does.
She checks her phone and sees it's 2pm so Autumn would be round in about 30 minutes.
She decides to sit on the sofa on her phone until Autumn arrives.
No matter how hard she tried not to, Charlotte fell asleep, holding the teddy bear.

Autumns pov:

I'm on my way over to Chars house now so I message her

-I'm on my way now

I don't get an answer so I assume she's just getting ready.
The drive to her house is about ten minutes.
When I arrive I knock on the door, but there's no answer. I remember I have the spare key so I let myself in, "Charlotte it's me" I shout.
She doesn't answer me.
I walk to the living room and I see her on the sofa.
She's fast asleep holding the teddy she had this morning. She looks to peaceful and I don't want to wake her, but we need to get to her appointment so I go to wake her.
I nudge her slightly as to not startle her,
"Char, we have to go for your appointment now." I say in a soft voice
Her eyes begin to flutter open as she says, "Oh sorry I don't realise I fell asleep, okay I'm ready anyways"
"It's okay, let's go" I say.
I watch as Charlotte sits the teddy in the sofa. She did so with care and gentle hands.
Once she's made sure it's comfortable she stands up and follows me out of the house and we get into my car.
I start the car when I ask, "Who's teddy is that?"
"It's both my daughters favourite teddy, they always fight over it, and they're with their dad this week and I just miss them." She says as she buckles her seatbelt.
"Oh okay then, are they back with you tomorrow?" I ask
"Yeah they are" she says.
As we drive to the hospital we talk about how Charlottes back at work tomorrow.
I tell her that she won't be in ratio so if she needs a break then she can take it.
All the staff are there to support her and I've made sure she knows that.
I can tell she's a bit nervous. She hasn't been at work for two weeks and most the parents are gossipy.
But she knows that she can come to me for anything.
