Fractured

The memories came flooding back

But it's not Marjorie at the door...

Its Mia.

Charlottes whole body freezes.
What is Mia doing here after what she had done?
"Charlotte I-" Mia says
"Mia stop. Please" Charlottes voice trembles as she begins to cry.
"Sweetheart" Mia says
"Mia please go" Charlotte says
"Charlotte please let me talk"
"Please Mia, please go." Charlotte cry's as she backs away.
Mia grabs Charlottes arm to stop her.
Charlotte yanks her arm away but falls back onto the floor.
"Charlotte stop!" Mia shouts in a calm voice.
"Mia please!" Charlotte begs as she cry's, "please Mia, I'm sorry but please!"

Hearing Charlotte cry alerts everyone inside, they all rush to the front door to see Charlotte on the floor crying with a look of terror, and Mia stood at the door.

Autumn and Reece rush to Mia while Sorscha, Carly and Winter rush to Charlotte.

"Mia leave. Now" Reece says, almost a shout.
"Why won't you just let me talk to her?!" Mia shouts

The three with Charlotte help her stand up and help her up the stairs.
It was difficult to get upstairs as her whole body was shaking.
They sit her in her bed.
They all do their very best to comfort Charlotte who is crying and trembling in fear.
"I'm so sorry!" Charlotte crys.
"Charlie you're okay, it's just us" Sorscha says to comfort her.

-back with Mia Aut and Reece-

"What do you mean? You have abused her for so long! You left so many bruises on her! you kicked her out of your house when she was in shorts and a bra, on a freezing cold night! She was outside alone for hours! You knocked her unconscious when you threw a glass at her face! She was unconscious for four hours! She had to stay in the hospital for a whole week with servere concussion! I THOUGHT I LOST HER! I THOUGHT SHE DIED! BECAUSE OF YOU! You don't get to talk to her!" Autumn shouts with tears building up in her eyes.
She had so much hatred for the redhead, not just from her childhood, She had somehow forgave her for that. It wasn't fully her fault, but for how she had treat Charlotte these past few weeks, she hated her so much more then she ever had.
Mia just stared back at Autumn. Shocked almost.
"Mia you need to go now" Reece says.
He said this in a calm tone but you could tell that if he didn't speak like that he'd shout just like Autumn did.
Mia turned around and left.

Autumn ran up the stairs to Charlottes bedroom.
She was sat in the middle of the bed. Carly and Sorscha next to her. Sorscha rubbing her back. Winter stood next to the bed.
To Autumns surprise Charlotte wasn't crying anymore.
Instead she had a blank look on her face. Although her face was still red and puffy.
Autumn looked at the others trying to work out what's happened.
They all shrug with a sympathetic face.
Together they decide through looks that they'll leave Charlotte alone for a bit.
"We'll leave you be for a bit Charlotte" Autumn says as everyone follows her out of the room.

While Charlotte sits on the bed. The memories start coming back. After Autumn reminded her about what Mia did, Charlotte began to remember it.
The memories of what happened began to flood her mind.

They all walk down the stairs to see Marjorie at the door.
"Sorry I'm late I was caught in traffic," Marjorie says, she notices everyone's faces, "is everything okay? Where's Char?" She asks
"Everythings okay, chars upstairs" Reece says
"What happened?" Marjorie asks
"Mia showed up" autumn says.
"What?! Is Char okay?" Marjorie asks frantically
"She's okay just a bit shaken up I think" Autumn says.
They all go into the dining room and wait for Charlotte. They don't want to rush her.
There is an awkward silence for a while.
No one knows what to say.

Soon the silence is broken.
Not by a voice
But by a crash and a bang.
