Fractured

Who is it?

She just tried to ignore her thoughts and got in the shower. She felt relaxed when the warm water streamed down her back.
She just stood there for a while to relax before she washed her hair.
When she was done she got dressed.
She didn't know what to wear.
She tried on her black floral dress and looked at her reflection.
She hated looking at her arms. Although the bruises had healed, when she looked at her arms all she could see was the bruises. She began to tear up when she looked at her reflection.

She decides to message Autumn.

C-Autumn?

A-Yes? Is everything okay?

C-Kind of, I don't know what to wear, when I look at my arms all I can see is the bruises, even though they're not there, and I can't get rid of it, it feels like the image is stained in my mind.

A-I'm sorry, just remember your stronger then you think you are okay, you've got this Char I believe in you, everyone does

C-Thanks Autumn I'll be down in about 10 minutes

A-No worries I'll start getting the ingredients out.

The message from Autumn made Charlotte feel better. So she kept on the short sleeve dress. She straightened her hair and added a claw clip at the back so it was half up half down.
She did her makeup.
And she was ready.
She took one last look in the mirror before taking a deep breath.
'You've got this char, I believe in you' replayed in her mind
"I've got this" she said to herself in the mirror before heading downstairs to where autumn was waiting in the kitchen.
"Hi, you okay? You look nice" Autumn says trying to boost Chars confidence.
"Yeah I'm okay now, thanks." Charlotte answers.
"Okay well I got all the ingredients out so let's start cooking" Autumn says
They start cooking the pasta together, it takes about 40 minutes until it's ready.
Charlotte decided they will put it in a big bowl and everyone can take what they want. They made lots of extra by accident but Charlotte can keep them as leftovers as it'll be easier for her at the moment.

When Charlotte is adding the finishing touches to the pasta before putting it in the oven when the doorbell rings.
"I'll get it" Autumn says.

Autumn goes to answer the door and sees Winter, Reece, Carly and Sorscha.
No Marjorie yet.
"Hi guys, come in Chars just finishing cooking" Autumn says.
Everyone walks into Charlottes house and head towards the dining room/ kitchen.
"Hi guys thanks for coming!" Charlotte says as everyone enters.
Everyone says hello and get some drinks.
"Where's Marjorie?" Charlotte asks
"I don't know she hasn't answers my messages I'm sure she's just running a bit late" Reece says.

20 minutes later Marjorie still isn't here.
Charlotte begins to overthink,
'What if she's still angry at me for our argument?"
'Will she come?'
'Does she hate me?'
Her thoughts are soon cut off by the doorbell.
Charlotte leaves everyone in the dining room as she goes to answer the door to who she thought would be Marjorie.

But it's not Marjorie at the door...
