Charlotte pov

It's my first day back at work next week.
It's been lonely at home this past week. Of course I have my daughters every now and again but during the day they're at nursery so I'm alone.
It's been a rough week.
I can't help but wonder what caused my injury.
Or why Mia hasn't messaged.
Another thing that's confusing me is I felt like there was some tension between me and Marjorie and I don't know why. I can't remember much from the days before and after the injury. So I don't know what's wrong with Marjorie.
What if I did something wrong?

I feel better though, I'm still getting quite dizzy and sometimes nauseous, but the doctors said that could last for a while.
I miss everyone. But atleast I'll see them next week. I'm easing back into work so I'm doing half days next week and I'll slowly build up the days up until I'm back to normal.

No one's pov

-with Carly and Sorscha at the nursery-

"Sorscha?" Carly says
"Yeah?" Sorscha responds
"Are you busy tonight?" Carly asks
"No I'm not busy, why?" Sorscha says
"Well I was thinking about going to see Char but I wanted to see if you'd want to come?" Carly says
"Yeah that's a good idea" Sorscha says, "I'll go see Autumn on my lunch and see if it's okay"
"Okay" Carly says.

-2 hours later-

"Okay Carly I'm going on my lunch now and I'll pop into the office and talk to autumn about later" Sorscha says
"Okay see you in a bit" Carly says

-in the office-

"Autumn?" Sorscha says at the door of the office.
"Erm me and Carly were thinking about going to visit char tonight?"
"Okay, I'll ring her and let her know then" Autumn says
"Okay thanks Autumn"

-5 hours later-

"Are you ready to go Carly" Sorscha asks.
They had both finished their shift now and we're getting ready to go.
"Yeah I'm ready, I'm just signing out" Carly says.

They head out to the carpark and get into sorcshas car.
"I'll message Autumn let her know we're on our way" Carly says.
Autumn was already at Charlottes.
"Okay grand" Sorscha says.

10 minutes later they arrive at Charlottes house.

-knock knock-

Autumn answers the door.
"Hiya Autumn" Sorscha says
"Hello Sorscha, hi Carly come in. Charlotte is just finishing putting shopping away."
They both say okay and walk inside.
They walk to the kitchen.

"Hi Char!" Carly says as she walks into the kitchen
"Hiya Charlie!" Sorscha says.
"Hi guys! It's so good to see you both!" Charlotte says as she finishes what she's doing.
Carly runs and hugs Charlotte.
It felt like they hadn't seen eachother in so long.
Carly has really missed Charlotte. She's her best friend.

They spent the next 2 hours talking. Catching up. Charlotte felt like she missed so much.

"I was thinking of one day everyone's free I could host a dinner for everyone." Charlotte says.
"That's a good idea Char." Carly says
"If you know who you'd like to come I can ask them all if you want" Autumn says.
"Well you three obviously, Winter, Marjorie and Reece" Charlotte says
"Oh have you made up with Marjorie then?" Carly says.
Autumn shoots Carly a look. Charlotte couldn't remember the argument with Marjorie and Autumn hadn't told her about it yet.
"What do you mean?" Charlotte asks confused.
"Oh um nothing" Carly says after seeing Autumns glare
"What happened between me and Marjorie? Did we have an argument? Is that why she's been so off? What did I do?" Charlotte asks. Thousands of thoughts flooding her mind.
"Charlotte don't worry, you didn't do anything." Autumn says trying to calm her down.
"I'm sorry, excuse me a minute" Charlotte stands up and leaves the room. To calm down.

"Autumn Im so so sorry I don't realise she couldn't remember!" Carly says. She feels bad.
"Carly it's okay, you weren't to know, I had to tell her at some point. I'm going to tell her about everything tonight, she deserves to know. But don't feel bad Carly it's not your fault okay?" Autumn says in her softer voice.

Charlotte comes back five minutes later. She looks fine, like nothing just happened.
Everyone decided not to mention what happened as to not upset Charlotte again.

I hate it when I'm upset, especially infront of other people. I hate the feeling like I'm making it all about myself. I tried to pretend I was okay infront of everyone. But I'm breaking inside.
