Charlottes pov
Im sitting in my room when the nurse comes in.
"Hi Charlotte, so you can go home now, we suggest having someone check in you every now and again, and take things slowly, you can start work again next week but make sure you can take breaks if you need it." The nurse says.
"Okay thank you" I say.
The nurse leaves and I begin to pack up my stuff. I pack my pyjamas, my photo, my keys, my phone charger and my phone.
As I leaves the hospital I remember I don't have a car here. So I call a taxi.
I take the taxi to the pub so I can pick up my car.
As I arrive at the pub I get shivers.
Why though?
I get in my car and drive home.
When I get home I get changed into a tracksuit so I'm comfortable. I go to the kitchen and check the fridge.
It's empty.
I decide it would be best to go shopping, just for the essentials. As much as I just want to rest I want to distract my mind. I need to get some shopping.
I get back in my car and drive to the shops.
I arrive and get my basket.
I wander the aisles picking up a loaf of bread, some butter, a carton of milk.
As I'm about to pick up some grapes I hear my name.
"Charlotte is that you?"
I turn around to see a parent from the nursery.
"Oh hi it's nice to see you, oh hello, Lexi." I say noticing one of her children stood behind her.
"I heard you've been in hospital, is everything okay?" She says
"Oh yeah I'm okay now, I've just been discharged so I'm getting some shopping, is Lexi not at Nursery today." I ask
"No not today, Lucy is in though" she says
Lucy is her baby, whereas Lexi is in the 2-3 room.
"Oh well have a good day then" I say trying to leave the conversation
"Okay I won't be long" The parent says
I turn around to see her walking off, leaving Lexi stood next to me.
"Okay then." I say with a sigh
I look down at Lexi who's looking up at me.
I take her hand and we wait for her mum to come back.
My head hurts.
After about 10 minutes her mum comes back.
"Thank you for looking after her I'll see you later, goodbye!" She says as she walks off.
I've started to feel dizzy so I leave my shopping and go back to my car.
I sit there for a few minutes before driving home.
When I get home I'm exhausted so I decide to go have a nap.
