Chapter 27: Last day of tour

Kai's POV
I woke up at probably five this morning. I've only had four hours sleep too. The reason why, is that Emilia is coming home later today. Yes I did see her like 6 weeks ago but that seemed to go by faster than ever.
I came back from a run with Locki and surprisingly none was up even though it is seven, so they'd probably be upstairs sleeping. I headed to my room, Locki needed a bath because she got pretty dirty from when she ran into a muddy field then a river than back on a muddy track.
I carried Locki into the bath, she lived it when it came to these times. I put the shampoo in her fur making sure I cleaned her muddy patches too, before rinsing it off with the shower head. Eventually I dried Locki with the town then went for a shower myself. I changed into tight blue ripped jeans and an American flag print tank top I put my arms in a denim Jean jacket but decided it was too hot for it and tore it off again. I used Emilia's hairdryer to dry my hair before leaving it flat. I opened the blinds, picking up my phone and laptop going downstairs.

"Hey Kai" Zoe's friend Louise smiled I nodded receiving a text from Dan.

From Dan:
Hey mate! Wanna meet up in town or my house? So bored -_-

To Dan:
Yeah sure your house will do I'll ring Locki too!

From Dan:
Yes mate! Love that dog, aha alright meet you at mine in a bit then

I pocketed my phone calling for Locki again. I attached her lead to her collar
"Let's go and meet Dan shall we" I told her, Locki barked at his name I put a few dog treats in a bag putting it in pocket. I picked up my laptop and Em's car keys driving to Dan's house. The hosue Em and I lived in before has now been sold, so the guys moved into their own apartments so I was driving to Dan and Sam's place which is only an hours drive from here.

I rang the doorbell. I know he'd be annoyed as I didn't walk in shouting "I'm home" like I used to but I didn't want Locki barking. Dan came to the door sweaty as if he has done the Olympics

"Oh its you come in. I'm just gonna put some decent clothes on. Make yourself at home" Dan hurried running back upstairs I shrugged walking into their living room. I smiled at the prom pictures on the wall, there was Sam and Em smiling together Locki tugged on her lead, I know where she wants to go, to go and find Dan and Sam's new puppy Marley. I sighed letting her off the lead and she immediately ran off.

"Oh hey Kai. Dan didn't say you were here" Sam said her hair tied neatly back into a ponytail "When's Em back? I need to tell her something" Sam asked

"Not until this afternoon, why?" I replied

"No reason. Tea?" I nodded feeling a bit confused

"I'm sure Dan will tell you the same thing she Em gets back" she mumbled I gave her a look ehich she laughed at "Nothing bad I promise. Have you seen little Conor now?" Sam changed the subject

"Not since we moved I think" I said Sam grabbed her phone showing me a video of Conor taking his first steps "He's not little anymore" I added with a smile

"No not really" Sam laughed pouring hot water into three mugs, just as Dan came in

"Hey again" Dan smiled kissing Sam's shoulder

"Where's Locki?" Dan asked looking around

"With Marley I guess" I answered Sam opened the door where the two dogs were play fighting like always.

"How's Em?" Dan asked handing me my tea

"She's good. Missing home badly" I replied with a smile

"I bet she can't wait to get home" I shook my head

"I'm gonna pick her up from the place she's gonna get dropped off at. And Locki will be with me too as she has missed her so much." I smiled again which Sam smiled at

"Awe, send her my love" I nodded getting a text from her

From Emilia ❤:
Hey were back in an hour so you might wanna start driving. Miss you so blooming much! See you in a bit xx

I smiled telling my friend that I had to go I pulled Locki away from Marley and put her in the car with me and we drove to find Emilia.

Emilia's POV
I stepped off the bus hugging my friends goodbye before running to Kai who span me around I reunited with the ground as Kai kissed me I smiled hugging him for a long as possible. I felt something nudge my leg I smiled a bigger smile seeing Locki as she tried to jump up at me.
We went to my car, Kai has been looking after better than I thought he would.

"Sam and Dan want to tell us something so I'll drop Locki off then we'll go" Kai explained putting my suitcases in the boot.

We got to Sam and Dans house Sam squealed running towards me I laughed hugging my best friend back.

"You two gals coming in or what?" Dan laughed Sam and I pulled apart walking inside their house. I day down on the sofa with Kai

"Want a coffee Em?" Dan asked

"Yes please. I'm gagging for a drink" I smiled I felt Kai sit closer making me look at him

"Hey" He smiled

"Hey" I laughed Kai grabbed me pulling me into a kiss

"God can't leave these two alone for five minutes without them sprawling over each other" Sam teased I laughed taking my coffee from Dans hands

"Kai said you had something to tell us" I said crossing my legs sipping my coffee

"Yeah.." Sam blushed looking at her fiancée

"Well after alot of thought. We want you guys to be, well Em we want you to be the chief bridesmaid. You, I want you Kai to be the best man" I smiled looking at Sam I hugged her tightly which made her laugh.

"So take that as a yes?" Sam laughed I nodded

"What about your bandmates?" Kai asked Dan "don't you want them as your best man?" He explained

"They are. But I want you to do the stuff they do" Dan smiled

"Well in that case, I'll accept" Kai laughed hugging his mate

"Well the wedding is coming together. Do you want to see what we've done?" Sam asked with a smile I nodded going into the study where everything was covered in ideas and plans.

"This is the place we're going to have the reception. Dans mum wanted it but we both like it too" Sam explained showing me everything

When we left Kai and I said our byes to them and before we got into the car Dan shouted

"So Friday, meet me here and we'll go into town for suit shopping." Kai nodded

"Em remember our plan!" Sam smiled
"Yep! See you tomorrow" I waved stepping into my car and Kai drove us home.

"Kai what you doing Saturday?" I asked him

"Nothing in the morning why?" He looked at me for a few moment

"Well you're gonna need your own car eventually" I said dropping the hint

"Yeah I know. Why don't we go tomorrow after you've come back from Sam's?" I nodded

"Okay sound like a plan"

We got into our house where noone wad inside. They were all outside in the pool. I ran to my room changing into my bikini before canonballing into the pool. Zoe squealed hugging me

"How was it?" Zoe asked me

"Tiring but fun" I smiled and we played I'm the pool for the rest of the evening.
