Kai's POV

We were all up pretty early as Emilia and I were flying off to Sierra Leone to film some footage for Sport Relief that was going on in a few weeks and I know its going to be tough with Emilia's kind heart, hence why I'm going. To give her comfort and someone to hug and cry on support her in every way I can.

"Got everything packed?" I asked my girlfriend 

"I think so" She replied taking a deep breather before giving her suitcase to Peter who loaded it into the van which had the cameras and all the technical things.

"Take care of her" Sam said giving me a hug

"No I'll leave her to cry without me for comfort" I joked making Sam roll her eyes

"I'll see you on the other side" Will said making me laugh

"Take care of yourself" Dan said giving me a hug

"I shall" I saluted him. After Em said her byes I entwined our hands climbing into the van

"You ready?" Peter asked

"Ready as I'll ever be" Emilia said tying her brown locks- I think she died them when we split because I remember them being black- into a messy ponytail. We sat in the van my hand rested on her knee drawing small circles which somehow soothed her.

We got to the airport and Emilia started to get excited but I could tell in her eyes that was scared. We boarded our plane and no one said a word it started to bug me.

"Em you know I'll be on the side witnessing and experiencing everything you go through." I sad trying to sound encouraging and trying to calm her down

"I know. I know I've seen it on the telly but this time I hear the cries, feel the hearts breaking, see the deaths, and smell the horror" I couldn't help but stay silent, Em's right we have to go through this everyday for a week

"It's going to be tough I know and I promise I'll be with you every step of the way" I said grabbing her hands in my grasp looking into her green eyes where I saw fear, loneliness. I felt her heart breaking from holding her hands, seeing her this sad upsets me too.

"Thank you" She gulped tears dripped down her bare, but beautiful face hugging me

"That's what I'm here for" I said pulling her onto my lap she glared at me "And because I love you of course" I added quickly making her laugh before she kissed me "Better get some sleep. It takes a few days to get there" I whisper to her, Em snuggled against my body. This did feel right. Very right.

Emilia's POV

Day after day of being in the air we landed in Sierra Leone and already I started to feel sad. I clung onto Kai as we climbed into our camper bus thingy we were staying and travelling in. I felt Kai draw circles on my palm which calmed me down

"Remember I am here" Kai said as we waited for the crew to set up their camera's we was off to meet a girl called Duane- pronounced Dwane- she's five years old and has to care for her family because her mum is too weak to run the household. Kai gave me a quick kiss before I got miked up and the camera's rolled reaching Duane's house.
