Chapter 39: A day of dog shopping

A/N before you start reading this chapter I wanted you to know I am extending this book to maybe 50 chapters including the epilogue, not far to go before book 2 has completed of the Em and Kai's series. I may bring back another book I honestly don't know but I want to concentrate on finishing this. Now you can read!

Kai's POV
I noticed that Emilia was gone and so was Locki. I stretched out before waking myself up a little more with a shower. I changed into a pair of jeans along with a white tank top, I quiff ed my hair before slipping on my white converse pocketihg my phone. I grabbed a leather jacket going downstairs.

"Morning" Em smiled putting down food for Locki

"Morning. You could've woke me up yknow." I said taking a mug of tea that was on the side

"I know but I didnt" Em smiled sipping her coffee

"Obviously" I said we finished our drinks before leaving to take Locki for a morning walk and some shopping.

"What we gonna do about Locki's bed?" Em asked handing Locki her hand which had some water in as she poured the bottle of water into her hand letting Locki drink away.

"We can buy her one of those dog beds for the bus can't we" I suggested Em nodded putting the now half empty bottle on the table wiping her hand with a napkin

"Cool" Em replied giving Locki a chew stick the shop did for free

"What do we need to get for her royal highness the second?" I asked referring to Locki

"I presume that's locki" Em said smiling I chuckled nodding "then food, a bed, she could do with a new collar, and anything else we can think of" Em replied drinking her orange juice

"Well we can go to pets at home then" I said to em who nodded stroking Locki's head.

"You ready?" I asked her she nodded picking up her jacket and her bag

"Do you want to hold her?" Em questioned me

"Come on princess" I said taking hold of her lead

"If she's your princess then what am I?" Em asked holding my free hand

"You are my queen" I smiled kissing her temple putting my free arm around her shoulders.

We got to pets at home which was then Em got excited about the guinea pigs. I rolled my eyes taking Locki to the dog stuff.

"Does Locki want some new toys?" I asked her stroking her head she was headbutting into my leg. Em eventually joined me and we got Locki some new things.

"What colour for her collar?" I asked Em

"This one is cute" she said choosing a purple one with a bone shaped tag on the front. We moved to the beds where we chose a black on white bedding.

"Let's get her food" Em said taking hold of the bags of things we brought Locki before moving onto Tesco getting Locki food to last until we get to Cardiff. Hopefully.

"That's the last of that" I said putting the bags of food onto mine and Em's bed.

"Good job we don't have to get any planes or we'll have to leave Locki's food to weighs so much" Em said I laughed taking down our suitcase and a bag for Locki. I packed the stuff for me into the suitcase Em and I share.

"I think we may need to take seperate suitcases again" I said to Em who was packing Locki's stuff we bought today

"Yeah I was thinking that" She said zipping up the bag
