Chapter 2: The Unwanted news

Emilia’s POV

I yawned rubbing my eyes I glanced at my phone checking the time 09:15 it showed making me groan. I flung my legs over the side of my bed dangling them so they touched the carpet beneath me. I stretched running a hand through my messy black locks I eventually stood up dragging my heavy bones to my bathroom where I took a shower.

I wrapped a towel around my body unlocking the bathroom door trampling into my bedroom again; I changed into a pair of grey faded jeans, a beige jumper with black birds across  the chest, I put on my black all stars. I dangled my headphone charm necklace around my neck, I added pink lip gloss on my lips as they were a bit sore, I put in my love heart earrings. I brushed, and straightened my hair I grabbed my phone before going downstairs.

“Hey Em” Sam smiled I nodded grabbing an apple from the table in the middle of the living room

“Heya” I replied taking off the label with my chipped nail varnish I left on from yesterday “Oh I just remembered Noah’s coming round at noon he wants help with his assessment” I notified the rest who nodded in response.

We sat in silence watching the telly eating biscuits and drinking cans of coke. My phone buzzed in my pocket

From Mike

When are you coming to visit the kids again? Liam feels bad from not wanting to see you when you last visited, Gina and I have something to tell you to x

To Mike

I have no idea when I’m free. Tell Liam it would be soon though, why don’t you guys come and see me soon? The kids might like that : ) what do you want to talk to me about? X

From Mike

We can arrange something to see you. Just something we haven’t told you in a while and maybe it’s time you knew. Nothing to worry about I swear x

“Is that Noah?” Gemma asked noticing I was texting I shook my head

“Mike. He wants to know if I can see them as Gina and Mike have something they need to tell me. They might be coming around here for a day.” I said putting my phone back in my pocket

“If they need to talk to you it must be something serious if they won’t tell you by phone call or text.” Kylie said

Kai’s POV

“Thanks mom, can’t stop I got to drop Bex of at her sister’s” I shouted flinging the suit around my shoulder

“Well pop in soon. I’m worried about you Kai.” I rolled my eyes at my mom climbing back into the driver’s seat

“What was she complaining about now?” Becky asked I sighed

“Something about being worried about me. As I haven’t seen them in ages” I heard Becky sigh as I drove to her sisters.

“It’s this one here” Becky pointed at the house at the end of the street “Come in with me. She’ll like to meet you” I rolled my eyes turning off the ignition and walking with Becky to the house.

A red head turned at the door, she was quite stunning actually. Her face spot free, no blemishes, she had no make-up on at all, her red head tied up into a messy bun on top of her head.

“Hey Bex, come in” She glared at me stepping to the side letting us enter her home. There were two children sat at a small table on chairs eating their lunch I smiled at the sight of them, sat there innocent and well behaved. A man walked into the room and sat next to Becky’s sister I presumed he was her boyfriend
