Chapter 22: Meet Ups!

Emilia's POV

My alarm buzzed, I quickly turned it off before it woke up Kai, getting out of bed I went for a shower. I changed into a mint Alice pleated skater dress. I put my feet into a pair of cream lace up flats and put a Batman silver pendent around my neck. I painted my nails white and did my usual make-up straightening my hair putting a white rose flower crown on my head. I put on my avitor sunglasses to complete the look. I grabbed my bag and my phone going downstairs, I really dont feel well today it had to be today, the day I'm doing meet ups and signings all day. The day I should be asking fans questions. I sghed going to the kitchen making myself a hot chocolate as I didnt feel quite myself. i heard someone come down the stairs and make a smoothie.

"You alright Em?" Joe asked me I nodded

"Yeah I-m" I didnt finish my sentence as I started a coughing fit

"You got a good ol' cough there mate" Joe laughed I rolled my eyes

"I'll be fine" I croaked my throat hurting as I spoke

"Have fun, I'm off working. Get well soon" Joe hugged me I nodded going to my own car holding my hot chocolate in the process

I got to the venue and 5 Seconds of Summer we're there, I texted Jamie that I had a sore throat and was on voice rest for the morning before the signings and stuff started.

"You okay Em? You dont look too well" Ash frowned I shook my hed

"Jamie said she's on voice rest. Her throat hurts so she's not talking for the morning" Luke reminded him

"Oh yeah, sorry I forgot" Ash smiled I shrugged signalling it didnt matter

"Em here's a white board for you to use for the morning" Jamie handed me I smiled just as he left again

"I cant talk!" I wrote on the board making the guys laugh

"Yeah so how are you?" Mikey asked 

"I could be better but y'know it happens" I wrote with a smiley face at the end

"Just had to happen today" Calum replied I nodded "Hope you get better before the tour" He addded

"Yeah I should be! its only two weeks away... No I'm not counting down..." I wrote making the boys smile

"Em do you feel any better to talk?" The doctor asked

"It hurts a little" I croaked sorely Jamie was concerned so he asked for the doctor to come in.

"Yeah you're throat seems a little red from what I could see. Try and keep your voice a rest and drink plenty of water. I guess you shouldnt do the meet up you need rest" The doctor said taking the wooden stick away 

"But I want to go. Cant the boys talk for me?" I asked my voice small and fading

"I guess they can but just no talking for a few days" The doctor explained and spoked to Jamie about me probably 

"We'll speak for ya it's okay" Luke smiled I thanked him

"Oi no speaking" Ash smirked I crossed my arms across my chest stamping my foot on the floor making him laugh a little 

"Come on guys, time to go" Jamie said once he finished having the conversation with the doctor I've apologised to the fans alright" Jamie told me sympathetcially I nodded "Alright" He mutterd I grabbed my whitreboard quickly joining the rest.

We walked out and fans were tapping on the windows and screaming to let them in. Jamie went outside with a mega phone telling them that I apologise for my voice. I felt Ashton squeeze my hand under the table making me look at him him mouth shaped into a wide smile. I smiled back before the fans came in group by group.
