Kai's POV
I allowed myself on with the spare key Becky allowed us to have, of course I knocked first.

"Hey Kai. Want a brew?" Jay asked I nodded

"Tea would be lovely" I said following him in the kitchen.

"I guess you're here because of Becky right?" Jay asked I nodded "I'll just drop Tristan off at his baby stter and we'll go and visit her" Jay replied

"Wait visit her?" I asked confused

"Yeah. She had a bad turn last night Nd she had to go into hospital, that's why she texted you yesterday" Jay explained "Oh and congratulations on your news as well" Jay said with a smile

"Thank you. Oh god, where is Tristan?" I asked

"Upstairs brushing his teeth" Jay replied "you can go up, if ya want" He added

"Thanks" I said going up the stairs followed the sound of running water

"Dad?" I heard a little boy say

"You alright Trist" I asked him with asked smile; my heart skipping a beat as he called me dad.

"Yeah, where's mummy?" He asked

"She's at work. You almost ready?" I asked him he nodded picking up a rucksack putting it on his back

"Jay, where's mummy?" Tristan asked him

"At work love. C'mon let's take you to Tanya's" Jay said picking up the car keys
"I don't like Tanya" Tristan mumbled making me chuckle

"Thanks Tan!" Jay shouted running back to the car "you ready?" Jay asked me

"You ready?" I questioned him

"Not really. I can't bear the thought of her going. I don't know how I'd cope" Jay said

"You can see Tristan whenever if you want" I offered but Jay denied

"How much I'd like to I can't. Tristan is yours by blood so you have the right to have him" Jay said truthfully

"I'm not going to stop you from seeing him. You can be one of those uncles that actually aren't you uncles" I said making Jay smile

"Thank you. We'd better get going" Jay said.

"Jay" Becky smiled kissing him "Kai" Becky gave me a hug

"You alright, wait that's a stupid question" Jay corrected making Becky smile

"I'm okay" Becky replied "Now, I've seen you I'm okay" she added becoming tired as she spoke

"Oh you're popular miss Green" a Doctor said

"Today is my day of fame" Becky smiled making the doctor laugh but his smile turned into a frown as he wrote on a clipboard

"How is she doing?" I asked a little concerned

"Not very well. Becky's tumour is still growing, the surgery didn't become very successful I'm very sorry Becky only has a few hours, a day if she's lucky" The doctor said Jay cried kissing Becky's hand multiple times my heart feeling for him.

"Thank you doctor, you've done your best" Jay said tears rolling down his face

"The only thing we can do is Becky have an overdose to put her to rest or she can let the tumour take her" The doctor said

"What do you want Becky?" Jay asked

"Let the tumour take me away" Becky said

"Alright, I'll be popping in and out every half an hour checking in on you" He said before he left. Becky grabbed my hand making me look at her
