Chapter 1: new Year, New Me.

Emilia’s POV

Okay so it’s the New Year and I have to make some changes in my life. By a few I probably mean one or five.

“Em when will you find the time to actually start work?” Jamie whined in my ear I rolled my eyes

“When I can be bothered” I replied yawning

“Which is how long? A year? Two hours?” Jamie listed I groaned

“How about never” I said slouching further down on the sofa

“Emilia Jade Roberts stop being a downer and get some work down at least. I expect you in the recording studio in a hour” Jamie said sternly leaving the house I sighed going to my bedroom. I changed into a pair of black leggings, a snowflake sweater that stopped just above my knees, and beige ugg boots. I tied my hair into a messy bun on top of my head. I sighed grabbing my phone going downstairs I left a note on the telly knowing someone would see it when they return home from shopping leaving the house. I walked to the car where Dave was waiting

“How are you Em?” He asked I replied with a sigh “Could be better?” He read my mind I nodded tucking my knees under my chin as Dave drove me to the studio. I scrolled down my twitter timeline nothing intrigued me so I logged off and lay down sprawled on the seats.

I walked into the studio where Jimmy, Samantha and Jamie were all talking but soon stopped when they noticed me standing in the corner

“You arrived” Samantha said with a smile I rolled my eyes

“I had no choice” I whispered glaring at Jamie in the process

“Right lest get recording then.” Jimmy changed the subject I nodded walking into the booth putting the headphones on I smiled at them who gave me the thumbs up and I started to sing the familiar songs I wrote on the paper in front of me.

I flopped onto the chair coming out of the booth I really did not have the energy today. My phone buzzed on the table and Noah’s face showed up I smiled a small smile reading his text

Hey wanna meet up in Starbucks? X

To Noah :P

Yeah of course, which one and when? X

From Noah :P

The corner and when you finished recording x

To Noah :P

Why don’t you just visit me in the studio? I’m bored x

Okay send me the address and I’ll save you : ) x

I smiled sending Noah the address to the studio I placed my phone back on the table it was on previously as Jamie instructed me to record another song. I rolled my eyes walking back into the booth recording a song called Tell Me Something I Don’t Know.

Kai’s POV

I smiled as I picked up Bex from her mother’s house. I wasn’t allowed inside because apparently the house is scattered in wedding plans.

“Hey” Becky kissed me climbing into the car

“Hey, how’s the soon to be in law?” I questioned Bex shook her head slightly sighing

“Terrible. Never leave her alone with invitations she’s invited a whole load of people I either don’t like, haven’t spoken to in ages or don’t even know them.” Becky listed I chuckled as we drove to our house “How was your day”
