Chapter 20: Back on the Road

Emilia's POV

I had to wake up at 6 this morning because today I was meeting Jamie and the crew as we were planning a new tour. I yawned running a hand over my face as I walked to the shower. I changed into a pair of black high waisted skinny jeans, a coral blue sleeveless black collared shirt tuck in. I slipped my feet into tan pilmsolls and tied my hair into a messy bun on top of my head I put in a Fault In Our Stars inspired bow infront of my bun sent to me by my fanmail. I was taking my make-up bag out of my black bag when Kai woke up a smile instantley grew on my face

"Morning sleepy head" I said making Kai chuckle 

"Morning" He replied tiredly rubbing his eyes 

"Why you up? You said you have few days off" I stated facts Kai rolled his eyes

"I wanted to see my girlfriend before she left me" Kai smiled pulling a chair sitting behind me resting his chin on my shoulder watching me do my make-up "I like the bow" He mumbled I smiled getting out my lipstick but before I could put it on Kai turned to my side kissing me 

"What the hell" I said after he broke the kiss he just smiled going back to the bed. I grabbed my car keys from my bag putting my make up bag in walking out of the bedroom. I picked up my phone and house keys putting them into 

"I wanted to kiss you before I got lipstick on me" He smiled going back behind me I just gave him a confused look applied my make-up

"Strange child" I mumbled putting my make-up bag, phone and purse into my bag going downstairs thankfully noone was up so I made myself a coffee Kai following me "Are you a lost sheep or something?" I asked handing him a tea, he's gone off coffee nowadays

"No but I want to say bye to you before you go" He smiled 

"But you cant kiss me I've got lipstick on" I teased 

"Oh shut up" He whined sipping his tea "What time you leaving?" 

"Half past" I said looking at the clock "5 minutes" I said picking up my car keys from the pot by the door and drove to Jamie's house.

"Hey Em, come in" Jamie's wife, Hannah, answered the door "He's just changing Lola, he'll be down in a bit" 

"How is Lola?" Their two week old baby, this would be the first time seeing her 

"She's fine" Hannah replied "Want a coffee?" I nodded waiting for Jamie.

I got back home where some new people were moving in. Louis Cole, Caspar Lee and Caspar's girlfriend, Gaby, joined us today gradually this house was getting more crowded by the day. I had just enough time to mingle with the new people and my roommates before I had to go back out for an 'exclusive' interview with Greg James on Radio One

"Hello" I said into the mic after Greg introduced me

"I asked Twitter questions to ask you and there is alot to get through" I smiled adjusting the mic so its closer to me "Ivy wants to know if you could invent a holiday what would it be?" My smile grew bigger as I thought

"I would just have 3 months of sleeping" I answered 

"So hybernating we're thinking then" I nodded "Sounds lovley" He smiled which made me smile too "Lucy wants to know; what do you hate about being on the road all the time?" 

"Hmmm... I dont necersally hate it. I mean I love performing, meeting my Lillies and being interviewed, sometimes. I guess I really hate getting up so early but I'm probably gonna have to get used to it" I sighed

"Talk to Grimmy he might be able to help you" James winked making me laugh "Martin Jones wants to know ho wis your new house?" I smiled again sitting up
