Chapter 47: Final Goodbyes

Kai's POV
Something really is up with me. I've been going to bed at like three in the morning and getting up at nine. What's wrong with me? I tied up my black tie that stood out against my white shirt, that was underneath a black blazer. Em was sat at her dressing table putting on her makeup which was eyeliner, mascara and a lipstick. She tied her hair into a bring slinging it on her shoulder she was wearing a black skater dress with a black leather jacket and her feet were in black heeled boots. I put on my black shoes before quiffing my hair

"I want today over and done with" Em mumbled putting her phone into her bag along with her purse putting some gum into her mouth

"I'll be there and so will Mike and Sapphire" I said placing my hands on her shoulders giving them a little rub

"I'll just glad it's just us four there" Em sighed looking at me

"Four and a half" I said making Em smiled a little

"I feel a little sick today" Em replied sipping some water from her bottle

"Well Mike knows about it, Sapphire doesn't need to" I said hugging her from behind

"Let's go shall we" Em said taking my hand her bag in her other

"You don't mind looking after Locki do you?" Em asked Zoe before we were about to leave

"Of course not. You deserve thus day by yourselves. Don't worry about her I'll look after her" Zoe hugged Em "you need to stop stressing you just worry about yourself" Zoe said "look after her won't you" Zoe said to me

"Of course I will. I'll see you in a bit" u said pulling Zoe into a hug

"Good luck Em" Zoe shouted after us. We got into Peters car who drove us to the private ceremony.

Emilia's POV
I went up to my dad's coffin on his stand seeing a picture of his face making a few tears fall down my cheek. I felt Kai kiss my cheek making me look at him

"Come on, let's go and sit down" He said holding my hand I nodded as he guided me to the pueue; I heard some cries from behind us I saw a blonde girl realising it was Sapphire.

"She loved dad didn't she" I said looking back at Kai who nodded with a sad smile

"And so did you" Kai said kissing my temple

"For the amount of time I knew him" I replied

"No you lived him when you was younger. You may have just forgotten" Kai replied his hand on my knee.
The doors opened and Mike showed up he smiled sitting down next to me

"Hi you alright?" He asked I nodded feeling Kai draw circles on my thigh

"You still alright for this week?" Kai asked him

"Yeah just text me when you're on your way" Mike replied

"What for? I don't want to see the kids just yet. I don't want to tell them just yet" I said placing my hands on my stomach

"It's okay we haven't told them and it's not about that. Kai asked me to do a little research for him that's all" Mike said

"Oh okay" I mumbled my hand going on top of Kai's.

I scattered some soil over my dad's coffin throwing in a flower too. Wiping a tear from my eye, I walked away slowly approaching Pete's car who drove Kai and myself back home.

"This isn't our house" I said to Kai as we approached a small cottage.
The walls were decorated in ivy and the roof was thatched. Just like on in in a fairytale.

"I'm aware of that" Kai said putting a key into the door

"Why has Pete brought us here?" I asked following him into the house.

"I wanted to show you around" Kai mumbled taking hold of my hand

"So what ya think?" Kai asked after giving me a tour of the cottage

"It's a cottage" I said still slightly confused why he brought us here

"Duh. I meant what do you think of us living here?" Kai asked shocking me a little

"Kai, we've only just settled into our house and only found out I was pregnant yesterday and you're already thinking of moving out? I'm sorry but it's too soon" I said walking back to the car

"One slight problem" Kai said joining me

"What now?" I sighed

"I've kinda already bought it." He muttered

"You've done what?" I said slightly annoyed that he's done this behind my back, though I am grateful

"I'm sorry. I thought you'd like the idea" Kai apologised

"Just take us home" I td Peter who nodded

"Babe I'm really sorry" Kai said trying to kiss me but I stuck my hand infront of his face

"You sometimes just don't know when to stop do you?" I sighed resting my head on the window feeling so many emotions.

Kai's POV
I know she'll like it but I didn't know that'll be her reaction. Once we got home she sat in the dining room her headphones on and her face glued to her laptop and a notebook next to her. I sighed leaving her to do what she was doing.

"You okay?" Marcus asked I nodded scrolling on my timeline on my Facebook, which was private, "there is something up" Marcus sighed

"Just had a rough morning that's all" I said locking my phone after seeing something rather infuriating to me.

"Kai?" Joe said as I rushed past him on the staircase. I locked myself in the bathroom glaring at myself in the mirror. What's gotten into me?

"Kai dinner" someone shouted from downstairs. I found myself in bed, I yanwed running a hand through my messy hair

"Where were you?" Alfie asked

"Sleeping" I said with a yawn "Oh Casp, why did you put something on Facebook about Em?" I asked remembering

"I didnt" Caspar said

"What's this then?" I said showing him the computer

"I swear on Em's life I didn't put that on there" Caspar said his hands either side of his face "I honestly have no idea how that got on there" He added

"I know some people have been hacked recently" Em replied

"Yeah, but nobody knows excpet the people we have told" I said "just forget I even mentioned it" I said grabbing my jacket "I'm going for a walk" I murmerd going out the house.

So many people have left town now it was so quiet I put my hands in my jacket pockets feeling a box shape. I pulled it out finding out that it was a box of cigarettes I bought a while back when we were on tour. I sighed taking one out of the box lighting it taking a deep drag. Never felt so relieved from all fhe stress that's been happening recently.

"I thought you'd quit that" a reconizable voice said from behind me.

"Yeah but so much has happened since them" I said letting out the puff of smoke away from Emilia cause I know she's not to keen on it.

"I know. Maybe you should slow down on the music a little" Em said making me look at her

"What you love, you do" I said

"I know but there so much going on and if we want this to work I need to be prepared myself and make myself less busy" Em explained

"That's kinda impossible now you've just got a number one" I said taking another drag

"Well the fans might not like the news but it's for the best" Em said kissing my temple "are you going back to them?" Em asked pointing at the almost finished cigarette in my hand

"I need to de-stress myself too" I said truthfully

"Okay. We going back home now? I'm freezing" Em shivered I smiled handing her my jacket before finishing the cigarette. Let's get home.
