Chapter 46: A single release & some great news

Emilia's POV
I woke up at two in the afternoon. I went downstairs finding that I had a radio interview in half an hour. I rushed upstairs changing into a pair of black leggings with gold crosses on them, a slouch jumper that said 'bitch please I ride unicorns' on the front in white. I slipped my feet into a pair of white vans tying my hair into a messy bun putting on a dark purple lipstick. I picked up my bag running downstairs

"You two ready?" Peter asked me

"Yep" Kai said.

"We've come to our top 5 on the top 49 and to help me countdown the lovely Emilia and Kai are here" Jamelia from radio one said

"Hi" I said into my mic

"So its a battle between the two of you, Em your single Neon Lights and Kai with I Blame Hollywood right?" Jamelia said

"Yep, but I'm going to be number one because I'm so much better than her" Kai said making me laugh

"Well we'll see about that" I said giving him a playful glare

"We've got fighting talk taking place. At number five is Taylor Swift with Shake It Off" Jamelia said before playing the song

"You three want a drink?" Someone asked us

"Yes please" Jamelia smiled

"A coffee please" I replied

"Me too" Kai answered the person and left the studio and shake it off was about to finish so Jamelia played number four which was Problem by Ariana Grande ft. Iggy Azelea.

"I'm so tired" Kai said

"Why what time did you get up?" I asked feeling a little nauseous- probably because I haven't eaten

"About 10ish. Unlike someone here" Kai said

"Erm excuse me! I have been extremely busy these past few months yknow" I said Jamelia smiled taking off her headphone going out

"Babe I've been doing the exact same thing as you" Kai replied

"But your dad hasn't died" I mumbled

"I don't even know where my dad is" Kai answered I smiled wanting to kiss him but the cameras were on. The woman came back in with a tray of our drinks along with Jamelia.

"That was Number four Problem by Ariana Grande ft Iggy Azelea and before that at number five Taylor Swift and Shake it off." Jamelia reminded the listeners "so now at number three, could it be Neon Lights, I Blame Hollywood or Boom Clap by Charlie XCX?" Jamelia said playing a heartbeat track. After a while Jamelia player Boom Clap

"Oh wow" I said sipping my coffee "between us two now" Kai nodded sipping his drink too

"Right so now we are our final two. Could are number one be Emilia's new track Neon Lights?" Jamelia played a snippet of the song "Or could it be Kai's new track I Blame Hollywood" Jamelia said playing a bit of Kai's song too.

"Come on" Kai said

"I gotta pause for tension Kai. Hold on" Jamelia laughed

"God Kai" I teased who just gave me a glare

"I can feel the tension between you two right now" Jamelia smiled "We need to be professional" she teased

"Sorry" Kai apologised

"It's okay. So our number one this week is" Jamelia paused again playing a heartbeat sound making my own heart race "Neon Lights!" Jamelia said
