Ryujin's Pov:
Lia's question hangs in the air. "Wait, but what about him?" She points at the body of the President. "And what about the corruption? We know it, but the public doesn't."
Karina adds, "We need to address this-"
Before anyone can respond, the door swings open, and in walks a familiar figure that makes everyone's jaws drop in shock. Except Winter, Niki, Han and Chaeryeong.
"Mrs. Hwang!?" we all exclaim, our voices overlapping in shock.
"Mom!?" Yeji and Hyunjin say at the same time, their eyes wide in disbelief.
Niki, still trying to process everything, echoes, "Mom?"
Mrs. Hwang steps into the room, her expression unreadable as she surveys the scene-the body of the President, the group of us standing in stunned silence, and her children looking at her with a mixture of confusion and disbelief.
She sighs, finally breaking the tense silence. "It seems there's a lot we need to talk about."
Mrs. Hwang looks stunningly elegant, her presence commanding the room like that of a mafia boss. Her poised demeanor leaves everyone speechless as she gestures to the two men standing beside her.
"Changbin, Jeongin," she says smoothly, "take the President's body out, please."
Without hesitation, the two men move forward, lifting the President's body with practiced ease. The rest of us remain frozen, unsure of what to say or do as Mrs. Hwang takes control of the situation, her sharp gaze sweeping over the room, taking in every detail.
Her children, still processing everything, exchange glances, clearly rattled by her sudden appearance and the authority she wields.
Mrs. Hwang smiles elegantly as she greets everyone, her voice smooth and confident. "OMG, hi Karina, Lia, Minho, and of course, my favorite, Ryujin."
Yeji's jaw drops in disbelief, and she quickly jumps in, "Hey! You forgot about me!"
Mrs. Hwang chuckles lightly, turning to her daughter with a teasing glint in her eye. "Oh, Yeji, how could I forget my most dramatic child? You know you're always unforgettable." She gives her a wink, and despite the tension in the room, it's impossible not to crack a smile.
Even Hyunjin rolls his eyes, smirking. "Classic mom," he mutters.
Mrs. Hwang's eyes widen in shock as she turns to Hyunjin. "You remember?" she asks, her voice filled with a mix of surprise and hope.
Hyunjin nods slowly, still processing everything himself. "Yeah... bits and pieces are coming back," he admits.
Mrs. Hwang's gaze then shifts to me, seeking confirmation. I meet her eyes and give a subtle nod, letting her know it's true. Her expression softens for a moment, clearly overwhelmed by the revelation that her son's memories, thought to be lost forever, are slowly returning.
"You don't know how long I've waited for this," she whispers, barely able to contain her emotions.
"Ahhh now that my twins are back.... They can clean the house together" she says
The tension in the room eases slightly as Mrs. Hwang's playful remark about her twins cleaning the house draws amused looks from everyone. Yeji groans in mock exasperation. "Mom, seriously? You're still on about that?"
Hyunjin chuckles, shaking his head. "After all these years, and that's the first thing on your mind?"
Mrs. Hwang simply grins, her elegant facade softening as she takes in the sight of her children together again. "Some things never change. You two might be grown, but you'll always be my kids."
