Ryujin's pov:

The grand ballroom of the Blue House glittered with the opulence of wealth and power. Chandeliers sparkled above, casting a warm glow over the elite of Seoul society gathered to celebrate the engagement of the President's second son. I moved through the crowd with ease, my eyes constantly scanning, noting every detail.

Beside me, Hyunjin was the epitome of grace and elegance, his presence a perfect cover for our true intentions. We had prepared meticulously for this night, and now it was time to execute our plan.

"The President's personal guards are near the stage," I whispered to Hyunjin, my voice barely audible over the hum of conversation and music. "We need to create a distraction to draw them away."

Hyunjin nodded, his expression calm and composed. "Leave that to me," he replied, a confident smile tugging at his lips.

As the newly engaged couple took the stage to address their guests, Hyunjin slipped away towards the control room. My heart pounded with anticipation, but I kept my demeanor relaxed, blending seamlessly with the other guests. Moments later, the lights flickered and then went out, plunging the room into darkness.

Gasps and murmurs of confusion filled the air. Perfect. The special forces moved swiftly to secure the President and his family, exactly as I had predicted. In the ensuing chaos, I navigated through the crowd, my movements precise and deliberate. The darkness was my ally, and I used it to slip past the guards, heading for a side exit where a few remained.

My hand darted to my belt, pulling out a concealed weapon. In a matter of moments, the guards were neutralized, their bodies hidden from sight. The lights flickered back on, and the guests began to relax, assuming it was a minor glitch. The special forces, having secured the President, began to reassess the situation. But Hyunjin and I were already ahead of them.

Throughout the evening, we worked in perfect harmony. Hyunjin created distractions and diversions, allowing me to isolate and take down the remaining special forces members. Each move was precise, each action calculated. By the time the engagement party was winding down, we had decimated the President's elite security detail, their absence unnoticed amidst the festivities.

As I slipped away into the night with Hyunjin by my side, a sense of satisfaction settled over me. The plan had been executed flawlessly. The President would soon realize the extent of our reach, and by then, it would be too late. We were just getting started.

My phone vibrated in my pocket. I glanced at the screen and saw the name "WinWin" flashing. It was my cousin Minjeong, the spy of our group.

"Ryujin," her voice came through the phone, steady and focused, "everything is clear on my end. The intel was accurate."

"Good," I replied, a small smile forming. "What's the latest on their movements?"

"The President's team is scrambling," Winter reported. "They're starting to piece together that something's wrong, but they don't know what hit them."

"Perfect. Keep feeding us updates. We need to stay ahead of them."

"Understood," Winter said. "And Ryujin, be careful. We're making waves, and they're bound to react."

"I will," I assured her. "Stay safe, Winter."

As I ended the call and pocketed my phone, I felt a surge of determination. Winter's role as our inside informant was crucial. With her intel, we had the upper hand, able to anticipate and counter any moves the President's forces might make.

I glanced at Hyunjin, who was waiting for me. "Let's go," I said. "We have work to do."

We disappeared into the shadows, ready for the next phase of our plan.
