Yeji's Pov:
Finally, after what feels like an eternity, she stops. "Okay, we're here!" she announces, and I can hear the excitement in her voice. "Just a second..."
I can hear the rustling of bags, and my heart races as I wonder what's about to happen.
"Alright, on the count of three, I'm taking off the blindfold," Ryujin says, her voice a mix of joy and mischief. "One... two..."
Just as she reaches three, I hear a loud crack behind me, and the ground shifts beneath my feet. My heart drops as I feel the earth give way at the edge of the cliff.
"Ryu-!" I start to shout, panic flooding my senses.
But before I can finish, everything blurs into chaos.
I gasp as the panic subsides and I realize that I'm still standing on solid ground. My heart is racing, but before I can say anything, Ryujin pulls off the blindfold with a sheepish grin.
"Oh, oops! You just almost slipped on a rock," she says with a playful laugh, clearly trying to downplay the moment.
I blink, adjusting to the sudden light, and look around. "Seriously? You almost gave me a heart attack!" I say, playfully smacking her arm.
Ryujin just shrugs, still laughing. "It wasn't *that* bad," she teases, giving me a quick peck on the cheek. "But you're safe now, and trust me, the view up here is worth it."
As I turn around, the breathtaking panorama of the mountain unfolds before me, and for a moment, all the teasing and playful scares are forgotten. The sky is painted with soft hues of orange and pink, and the distant horizon stretches endlessly. It's beautiful-and suddenly, everything feels perfect.
"Well, what do you think?" Ryujin asks, her voice softer now, as she wraps her arm around my waist.
"I think I'm still mad at you for the rock scare," I joke, leaning into her, "but this... this is amazing."
Before I can fully take in the view, Ryujin slips the blindfold back over my eyes, making me groan in playful frustration. "Again? Seriously?"
"Just trust me," she whispers with a grin in her voice. "It's a surprise."
Suddenly, I hear the unmistakable voices of Karina and Lia approaching, laughing softly. "Wait... Karina? Lia? What are you two doing here?" I ask, confused but also curious.
"Just come with us," Karina says, as she takes my hand.
"Yeah, we've got something planned," Lia adds, her tone full of excitement.
I try to ask more questions, but they just laugh and start leading me carefully, Ryujin still walking close by, her hand gently resting on my shoulder. The mystery of what's happening builds with each step as I'm guided through the terrain, feeling the wind change and the soft rustling of the trees around me.
"Are we almost there?" I ask impatiently, my curiosity getting the best of me.
"Almost," Karina replies with a teasing lilt. "Just a little bit more."
Where are they taking me?
As we finally stop, I feel Karina and Lia's hands gently guiding me to stand still. The air feels different, more open, and I can hear the soft rustling of fabric. Suddenly, they begin slipping something over my head, something smooth and flowing-it feels like a dress.
"What are you two doing?" I ask, laughing nervously, though I can't help but feel a bit anxious now that Ryujin's presence has disappeared.
"Just trust us, Yeji," Lia says softly as she ties the back of the dress. "It's part of the surprise."
